Melissa Anderson knows how to write poems and turn them into life lessons or turn life lessons into poetry because you can feel how her words are genuinely written and how they are relatable to most people's lives.

I have never read poetry before, but this reminds me that what I find beautiful in books is the prose, because this is beautiful.

“i hope you always find me in the little moments most people miss.”

A stunning debut by a soulful author. Melissa Anderson has such a gift for saying so much with so little. Her poems are like tiny breaths of the freshest, calmest air and they burrow into your heart. Her unique voice challenges the reader to become "a noticer of unnoticed things" in her quiet celebration of all that is ordinary, yet extraordinary, in this world and in this life.

This collection of poetry is a reminder to appreciate the beauty of life and to find joy in the little things. Its in these quiet moments where we find peace in a chaotic world. The imagery takes you on a journey through the connection between nature and the human spirit.

Melissa's ability to evoke so much emotion in just a few choice words is pure magic. The world would be a better place if just a few more people could look at the world, motherhood, and healing in the face of uncertainty with such grace and insight. A truly magnificent Canadian poet.
