A magical day at the seaside: that is LANDE Jewels` gift to her readers; a book carrying the essence of salty breezes and sunshine, despite the English weather, wondrous discoveries made in the sand and sweet, nostalgic memories to stay with one forever - all the joys of childhood, still treasured so much later in life. I am continually delighted by the LONDON BABY series of books: the author manages to convey through her poetic stanzas alone powerful images to transport one both back in time and to the hub-bub of today, and thereby unleashes, at least in my case, the desire to visit (or revisit) the locations highlighted in her books.
