Kameer's Mate

Rate this book
Sold to a darkly possessive alien.
Trained to be his dutiful wife...

Betrothed to a wealthy human Founder, Mandy is relieved she won't be forced to mate with one of the Darrvason aliens who are helping her people, unlike most of her peers. But then the unthinkable happens. A huge alien named Kameer takes a liking to her, and her fiancé mysteriously dies.

After Kameer, a renowned Darrvason engineer, is assigned to make repairs on the human worldship, he encounters an enchantingly beautiful female called Mandy. He immediately decides she'll become his mate, no matter the cost, and when he discovers she's betrothed to a human male, he quietly resolves the situation. Then he's quick to take ownership of the trembling female and claim her as his mate. Despite her reluctance, he also begins training her to be a proper, obedient wife.

Mandy is terrified of the controlling Darrvason male who's decided she'll belong to him forever. Her trepidation deepens when she learns he paid a hefty bribe to secure her hand in marriage, though she can't deny the warm feelings Kameer's touch elicits within her. His dominant mating leaves her breathless, and his strict punishments make her ache with longing. But how could she possibly find happiness with the possessive male who is likely responsible for her fiancé's death?

A simply captivating continuation to series, riveting sexually charged human alien romance
Mandy and her younger sister and mother along with their verbally abusive and often frightening father are travellers along with thousands of the remaining human race travelling on badly maintained ships through space in search of a habitual planet they could settle and call home,
Mandy had been promised to a man that was ninety-five years old by her father simply because her father wanted his daughters married to a human Founder member who looked down on her and her parents believing that his wealth made him something far above them.
When in fact the Founders who were not used to work and had no experience of menial tasks and would not have the first idea how to care for themselves or cook or clean so they would most likely perish very quickly without those humans accompanying them that actually did all of the work and Mandy truly detested this arrogance and the fact her father pondered to these individuals.
Kameer is a highly skilled and valued Darrvason engineer that is the main reason the human ship is still flying in space and has not exploded because of poor maintenance and lack of parts, when they eventually land on their homeworld two thousand human females will become their mates so that their race dose not die out as all their females had been killed in an attack by hostile aliens.
When Kameer had come across Mandy as she had been hiding in the beauty salon he had instantly been drawn to her this is the very first time he has had any feeling for a female since the death of his bound mate all those years before but her name is surprisingly not on the list and so he sets plans in motion with the Captain of the earth ship and buys himself a Mate.
As the couple begin to bond and they start showing symptoms that a heartbond is in fact forming between the Kameer is anxious that it happen as soon as possible as it is another aid he can use to keep Many safe as the attacks on his life continue to happen.
I guarantee that you will be captivated by this couple and the plot to kill him is from a surprising perpetrator, once you begin reading you will not put the book down until you reach the end.
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the wonderful writing.

I must guard my heart. If my defenses fall and a bond forms between us, there will be no going back. Darrvasons mate for life.

Kameer's Mate is the next instalment in the Worldship Brides series that continues to explore the ongoing alliance between humans and the Darravason alien race. As humanity relies on the advanced technology of the Darravason to preserve their ships, the aliens seek breedable human females to restore their population after a devastating war nearly annihilated their own species' females.

I had mentioned in my review of the previous book that I really enjoy that the 4 stories were taking place all on the same timeline, but we were seeing the major events happening from different perspectives. Kameer's Mate is the first to step outside of that and now represents the continuation of the timeline, up to the humans and Darrvasons landing on their new planet.

Kameer and Mandy's story is a continuation of the females that figured they were "safe" from the selection as a mate, in this case Mandy and her sister were set up in arranged marriages with elder founders (like in their 90's elders, ew) to (i) protect them from the Darrvasons and (ii) to help solidify their standing in this new planet. But a chance encounter between Mandy and Kameer derails Mandy's plans...

Touching [Mandy] feels like... coming home. That's the only way I can describe it. An immense feeling of rightness. Destiny.

In classic Sue Lyndon fashion there is a power dynamic between the two, with Kameer expecting an obedient mate and Mandy being "so fucking tired of of males telling me what to do". These are considered dark romance so definitely recommend double checking those content warnings 🫶🏻. I really appreciated one part where Kameer seems to have some self reflection that although he wants her to obey he also doesn't want her to spend her entire life in fear of and despising him.

Between the 90+ year old pervy founder and the hunky dual-loaded-vibrating alien... I'd choose the alien every time 🙂‍↕️

Also, I really hope the next book in this series follows Mandy's sister Tasha because it sounds like she had a whirlwind alien affair that I am dying for the details of.

“Kameer's Mate: A Dark Sci-Fi Alien Romance” is the fifth book in Sue
Lyndon’s Worldship Brides series. This is another great read in the series!
This Sci-Fi story takes place on Spaceships where the Aliens and Humans are searching for new homes. The Humans desperately need supplies and repairs to their ship, Jansonna, the Aliens need women to ensure the continuance of their species. The Darrvasons have located a planet that will meet the needs of both Darrvason and Humans. Yeah! Hopefully the series will continue as they adapt to this new planet!
Kameer is a respected and skilled Darrvason engineer who is on the earth ship trying to prepare it for landing on this new planet. Mandy works in her Mother’s salon and feels she is safe from being a bride to a Darrvason because her father has arranged for her to marry a Founder. Oops, As, Kameer works on the Jansonna, he sees Mandy and knows that he must have her! This is the moment her plans take a new turn. Kameer has to go through unconventional means to get her because she is promised to a Founder and due to the terms of the treaty. Being given to Kameer does not endear Mandy to him in any way. The story unfolds with twists, turns, suspense, intrigue and romance.
These books are gems that draws the reader into a beautifully told, well written story of love and life and the characters have depth. The story keeps you interested until the last page. It has humor, suspense, fast paced, romance, and true awakenings for the main characters.

Chief Kameer finally finds his mate on Jansonna. Mandy is to marry one of the founders, a ninety two year old man. This keeps her off the list to be given to the Darrvason’s. That’s fine. When a tall alien stops by her salon, she feels a tingling on her arm. Chief Kameer didn’t know what to expect from the small human. He certainly didn’t expect to feel his mating marks heat up and his loins to vibrate. She is the one. But he can’t just steal her away. He does find a loophole in the treaty that they signed with Cpt Warren. He would have Mandy. He hoped for a quick heartbond. I wasn’t thrilled about how Kameer went about getting Mandy. I can understand her desistance. She didn’t know this alien. She had a feeling for him that she didn’t understand. The suppressant that they were all given was wearing off and she starts feeling the urge. With them all getting closer to planet 58-Z, she had a chance to be free. With Kameer wanting her so badly, he becomes demanding. But with Mandy he also finds his softer side. Mandy is trying to fight the heartbond but every little thing that Kameer does is not cruel. He gives her more then she ever had. But we still have someone looking to do Kameer harm. They need to get this solved before they land on the new world. I was shocked when we found out who it was. Betrayal. Thank goodness for Officer Brute.

Mandy (h), a young beautician aboard the human worldship Jansonna, finds herself in an extraordinary situation when Selection Day, a ritual where human women are chosen as brides for alien Darrvasons, sees Kameer (H), a powerful and possessive Darrvason chief engineer, claims her as his mate after he negotiates a secret deal with the ship’s captain to claim her as his mate. Thrust into an alien world of dominance and unfamiliar customs, Mandy fights to maintain her independence while navigating the telepathic bond that ties her to Kameer. Kameer’s obsessive determination to claim Mandy sets the stage for an intense relationship marked by power struggles and growing desire. But her resistance wavers as she glimpses the scars of Kameer’s past and the fierce protectiveness that drives his every move. As their connection deepens, Mandy comes to realize her future is bound to a male who would destroy worlds to keep her safe. When treachery strikes from within, putting both their lives and the fragile human-Darrvason alliance in peril, Mandy and Kameer have to work together to face a ruthless enemy, cementing their bond through shared danger and trust. Ultra-hot and steamy dark, alien-human, erotic romance, with BDSM and spanking, exploring love, survival, adversity, betrayal, loyalty, trust, adaptation, and the strength of an unbreakable bond.

Fantastic Conclusion To The Series!

I love this series and am sad to see it end, but this is a great ending! The list is coming out of the last 2000 women that will be handed over to the Darrvasonians when they land on their new planet. Mandy is not worried because she is engaged to a 92-year-old founder and he has made sure she and her sister will not be on the list. Once the list is released riots break out on the Worldship Jansonna. Kameer is the Darrvasonian’s head engineer and he is on the Jansonna overseeing the repairs. He is out helping fight the rebels rioting when he finds Mandy hiding in her solon. He immediately knows she is his mate. He decides to claim her since he has been promised a mate from the 2000 women. Imagine his surprise when she is not on the list. When he learns she is engaged to a 92-years-old founder, he does what any rich Darrvasonian would do. He bribes the captain with an obscene amount of money and claims her. But then he must get her to accept him as her mate. A great book!.

Kameer’s Mate by Sue Lyndon continues the story of how the Darrvasons and humans from the world ship navigate through space searching for their new planet and ways to survive. Many human women have already been given to male only aliens whose females dies long ago. Mandy, a hairstylist, is supposed to marry 92 year old Founder Ned. Though there’s not supposed to be any procreation occurring any more, he lets her know he’s expecting it. Then rebels hit again and she meets huge and hunky don Kameer, who then proceeds to make a deal with the corrupt human captain: money in exchange for the female. Ned winds up dead and Many becomes Kameer’s mate: no choice! She’s torn between desire and the need to rebel against his controlling behavior, especially in the bedroom! Lots of intrigue occurs until they finally accept each other and begin their new life!.

The Worldship and its Darrvason escorts are nearing the planet that is to become home to the humans and Darrvasons. There are still hints at rebellion. During one skirmish, Chief Engineer Kameer finds Mandy hiding in her beauty salon, and instantly recognizes her as his mate. All the signs are there. Mandy is engaged to one of the elderly founders and therefore not on the selection list. Kameer finds a loophole in the treaty they have with the humans, and gets Mandy as his mate. They have a rocky beginning. Mandy is somewhat frightened at Kameer’s dominating ways. As they spend time together and come to know each other better, their bond strengthens. There are other problems. Mandy’s former betrothed is dead and someone is determined to harm Kameer. Hopefully, these mysteries will be solved before they reach their destination. A great story full of excitement, mystery, betrayal, danger, finding a new home, and sizzling romance, Darrvason style. There are some twists, and a surprise or two as they arrive at their new home.

Another One Finds His Mate
As the human Worldship Jansonna and the Darrvasons fleet continue their travels towards their planet-to-be, another rebellion takes place while the list of the two thousand young women is published. Mandy hides in her beauty salon when Kameer walks past. He knows straight away that she is the one for him. She later finds out how she became in his possession and it fires her antagonism again. The way she experiences her first sexual arousals and the way her body reacts to his dominance differently than her mind is very well written. Also the way his feelings for her deepen and bring forth a gentleness beside his need for having a ‘very obedient little wife’. Like in the other books in this series there is BDSM in their developing relationship and it is wrapped up in warmth and love.

Kameer’s Mate is the fifth book in the Worldship Brides series and follows MFC Mandy who is relieved to find out her name wasn’t on the list of human females set to be turned over to the alien Darrvasons in payment for their assistance.
She is already betrothed to one of her ships wealthy founders, an elderly man who she considers a better choice than one of the aliens.
When Mandy comes to the notice of MMC Chief Kameer a Darrvason engineer who is helping with the repairs to their Worldship her hopes are going to be dashed as he becomes determined to make her his.
I enjoyed this darkly titillating Sci-Fi romance filled with intrigue, mate bonding, erotic spice, good writing, action-adventure, subterfuge, and hot alien alphas who want proper, obedient wives.

I was so excited to get my hands on this one!
Kameer's Mate had everything a sci-fi romance reader could ask for: a human ship in need of repairs, an alien fleet willing to help in exchange for human brides from said ship, a brooding 7-foot sexy alien with dual... um, yeah, and matching vibrating ya know, to boot. And of course, a sassy heroine who has no interest in said alien.
Well, maybe 'no interest' might be stretching it.
I was such a fan of this entire series, beginning to end, and am hopeful (fingers crossed!) that Sue continues with a new series now that they've reached the inhabitable planet.
Loved it. 5 stars.

I love this series and this story fits so well with it. Mandy is sweet, loyal and very protective of her sister. Kameer is brilliant and demanding of himself and thoes around him. I loved their first meeting when Kameer knew and Mandy is so scared of her own feelings and hot chemistry exploding between them. There are plenty of different elements to hold the readers interest including plenty of hot erotic sexy scenes. I received an advanced reader copy of this book and am leaving an honest review. I hope that there will be other stories in this series, I would love a catch-up a year after that they settle on the new planet.

Mandy caught the attention of a dominant Darrvason male alien named Kameer but she was already betrothed to an old man as a result of her father's arrangement. Her father had a nefarious purpose. Mandy is taken by Kameer to his suite where he explains she is his. It takes time but Mandy does learn to love Kameer and his dominant ways. There is still danger they must overcome but their ending is especially happy as Mandy's sister found her own mate in a Darrvason and her mother is open to mating with an older Darrvason after her divorce is finalized to her human husband. They can live happily together.

You'll definitely need a fan for this story; there's a lot of spice in it! The male main character (MMC) comes across as a bit arrogant, or perhaps it's just extreme confidence. However, I later understood the reasons behind it. Despite his demeanor, he is still a good man, and I liked him. He exceeded my expectations in many ways. On the other hand, the female main character (FMC) could have been a bit braver in discovering what was on her mate’s mind.

New Beginnings.
This was yet another interesting story about humans and Darrvasons in their space quest for a new home and survival. Mandy and Kameer have a unique and dark D/s path that meanders through family conflict and traitorous betrayal. I enjoyed the action/suspense as well as the personal reflections and realizations shared by several key characters. Hope for a new beginning, companionship, family plus all that this entails made for a goal worth fighting for!.

Kameer's feelings for Mandy scare her because she doesn't understand them even through they excite her. He stirs feelings in her that they are taught on the Worldship are shameful.. He's determined to teach her that that's all part of mating . He's going to teach her the pleasures of the flesh and about the obedience he expects from his mate. Sensual and exciting their chemistry is palpable. A thoroughly enjoyable read full of passionate moments and action as well as danger.

I have really enjoyed this series and loved reading this story. I couldn't wait to see what happened next between Kameer and Mandy. Kameer went over to the Worldship to help fix it. He wasn't expecting to find his mate. He hoped that he would eventually. Mandy was exempt from the first round of becoming a bride for the Darrvason aliens who will help them. She wasn't expecting Kameer and his belief of her being his mate. Will they be able to work things out?

A sweet read

This is book five of the series, and features the Chief Kameer, who is the engineering wonder keep the station working for the humans. Kameer happens chance upon Mandy in her mom’s hair salon and realizes that there is a pull. Mandy is unfortunately engaged to one of the oldest founders which was arranged by her father so she will not be a tribute bride. Chief Kameer has another plan because he knows Mandy is his. There is domestic discipline as part of this series. Read On.

This charming read is a lovely addition to Sue Lyndon’s Worldship Brides series! I so glad to see the progression of the plot line…Earth’s ship is on its final leg of the journey to find a planet to inhabit. I loved the characters who were well developed, with chemistry that was off the charts and romance the smoked the pages on my kindle. This is a must read for Lyndon fans! Download and enjoy❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.

I loved it…
Kameer is part of the Darrvason fleet which has been traveling with the human worldship. In exchange for saving the humans from destruction they were promised more than two thousand woman. Unfortunately, Mandy wasn’t one of them. Kameer isn’t about to let that stop him… I received a free copy of this book. This review was posted voluntarily.

I honestly don’t even know. Is this series over? Because, if I’m being honest, I was bored. The “ultra-possessive-double-dicked-alpha-male” shtick was not enough to keep my attention. Mandy had all the personality of a paper bag. Kameer was a generic alpha alien. Together, it was a snoozy plot interspersed with the same homogenous smut from the preceding books.

I liked it. I guess. But it didn’t leave an impression… which is not a ringing endorsement by any means.
