Such a promising storyline! So many encounters, historical event to be combined into a riveting read. Yet, execution fail :(
Such a fragmented way of sharing the story with moments in time captured, missing the opportunity for a true story line.
In addition I did not like the main character at all, she came across very selfish and aloof. While it became clear that was a consequence of her upbringing and possibly traumatising event, no depth on her character development was visible. After such a life?
Some phrases were nice and showed promise, yet without anything to real hold the reader by the hand long the reading journey, this collection of life snipers is far away from a good read.
