Mercy Mild is a beautifully written devotion book and powerfully packed! The author shows us how Christmas is so much more than the baby Jesus in a manger. Christmas is God coming for each and every one of us and changing everything! How vast is God’s love for us! I thoroughly enjoyed Mercy Mild and will be studying this book again and again.
I buy and read an Advent devotional every year. This one was one of the best. It is so well written. It blessed my heart by filling it with hope, encouraged my soul with it's practical and Biblical teaching, and made me wish it wasn't over. Thanks Pastor Josh for all your hard work in putting this book together.
This was such a powerful devotional. I really enjoyed reading it this advent season and highly recommend it to anyone wanting to dive deeper during an Advent season.
Mercy Mild is a wonderful Advent devotional looking at Christ’s love from Eden to eternity. This book looks at some of the different prophecies in the Old Testament about Jesus and how he perfectly fulfills them, and also how and why Jesus is relates to us today. The author writes in a way that’s relatable and easy to understand. I enjoyed this devotional, and look forward to reading it again in years to come!
I love all the connections Josh Taylor explores between the Old Testament and the birth of Jesus in this Christmas devotional! Love the journal prompts, too! There are also conversation starters you can use when talking to others about your faith.
It takes around 10 minutes to read each daily reading. Reading this book, along with my Bible, has been encouraging, enlightening, and a wonderful way to connect with the true reason for the season!
