Most amazing fanfic I have ever read. I just read it again (for the third time). There is no other fanfic you can compare it with. It's just... Epic!

A unique take on a Dark Harry fanfiction with a Voldemort/Harry pairing. If you like an angsty, slow burn with an independent Harry, you’ll enjoy this.

The book started off strong with complex characters and an intense plot. The author occasionally delves into different points of view to great success, and does a good job time skipping so that the story moves along quickly; I’ve found a lot of stories that begin with Harry at 11 take too long to get to the plot.

However, the more I read, the more I felt the author did too much. There are so many different story arcs added that it detracts from the main storyline and confuses the plot. After finishing Part I, I’m not quite sure where the story is going and if I even want to continue.

Also note, the romance between Voldemort and Harry starts when he is 15 and can be considered an emotionally abusive relationship. Read with caution.

Ok. This is one of the best fanfictions I have ever read and I am not kidding. It allowed me to be introduced into themes and scenes I never had read before. The characters are so well written, everyone has a side, no one is 100% right. The writing is so tear inducing and immersive, it wraps you that well into the story. So many times, I wondered about how as in how the hell and heaven, did the author thought of a certain outcome or of the details of a character development in particular. A lot of scenes, events, direction of character development made me think and wonder about morality, love, family, human nature, it made me discover things about myself, really, this was a complete journey. I remember weeks after reading this, scenes, characters and conversations that happened randomly pop in my mind and then I would just wonder and think about them.

I never read something like that before, maybe only the dark overtone of the story I was used to, but it felt as if every other element was written in a way I had rarely encountered in a story before. Sincerely to the author, a thank you for sharing that story.
