A steamy enemies-to-lovers romantic suspense with danger, drama, and a guaranteed happy ending.

Victoria Mason, a bold and passionate artist, is finally living her best life, free from the controlling grip of her toxic ex-boyfriend. Painting is her safe space… until a sexy, infuriating computer genius turns her world upside down.

Elijah Travis, a driven and guarded hacker, thrives on control. Victoria is chaos wrapped in curves — and he can’t stay away. Her sass and fire draw him in, breaking through his walls one heated glance at a time.

But when Victoria’s obsessive ex resurfaces with a stolen, compromising tape and a dangerous demand, their budding romance turns into a fight for love and safety. Can Elijah protect the woman who’s stolen his heart, or will their passion be destroyed by blackmail and betrayal?

Perfect for fans of steamy enemies-to-lovers, protective heroes, stalker-ex drama, and spicy romantic suspense with a happy ending.

Something wild was WILD! Written by the queen of plot twist; there is so much happening in this book and it keeps you entertained from page 1!

This is the second book of the cross security series and this was the story of Victoria and Elijah. To protect her from her ex-boyfriend, he pretends to be her new boyfriend, despite her driving him crazy. And then it turns out that they fit together perfectly…

The moment you think you know where the story is going everything changes again. And I loved that! I love it when the story is a little unpredictable. Vic and Elijah were so much fun together. I enjoyed their connection and the spice was so incredibly hot. The pace of the book was fast but that's what kept the suspense going! I loved this book and I can’t wait for Emily and Van’s story!

Hot

This book is very sexy with alot of well described sex scenes. Alfa males and there strong willed but very submissive girlfriends included. Lots of sexy playful flirting and down right nasty vocabulary. Hot Hot Hot. Not for the faint of heart.

Spicy and fun enemies-lovers trope

"Something Wild" by Stella Ashley is the second installment in the Cross Security series. This spicy romance novel is characterized as an "enemies-to-lovers" tale with a touch of danger and drama. The storyline follows a spirited artist named Victoria and a self-identified computer geek, Elijah, who initially clash but ultimately feel a pull towards one another. Additionally, there's a looming threat from Victoria's ex-boyfriend, Dean, which involves a compromising tape or two. Although it's part of a series, it can definitely be enjoyed on its own. The clever dialogue, engaging plot, and steamy moments were spot on. That said, the numerous grammatical mistakes made it a bit challenging to read, as I found them quite bothersome.

There were a lot of editing errors. The wrong names were used multiple times, "air" instead of "are", and run-on sentences everywhere.

I also could make a drinking game out of how many times "computer geek", "nerd", "nerdy", and "alpha" was used. But I'd probably die of alcohol poisoning.

Vic also made so many dumb choices, I'm surprised she survived her own story.

The sex scenes were the only thing that was well-written in the whole book.
