Ohhhh boy did I binge this book and adore it. Second Chance between two people who were made for each other. YES PLEASE
The fact Roman is an actual sweetheart to Ruby just made my heart warm. He knew what she needed in each moment whether it was space or her favourite things. He was her shoulder to cry on and her best friend.
There were very important yet hard subjects spoken about throughout which allowed me to connect with the characters more.
Also we saw our faves again.

OMG I loved this book, It literally gave me goosebumps in so many parts! The cultural references were so refreshing... I devoured this book it felt like we knew exactly why they fell in love with each other the whole way through this book.
I was so intrigued when I found out that this book is Ruby and Romans story, we meet both characters in book 1. Roman is a complex character who has overcome so much and he displays real growth in the time since he split from Ruby.
Ruby is the best friend that every girl needs, she needs a break she is tired of being there for everyone else and needs some time to start putting her own wants and needs first. Roman was the perfect person to allow herself to be vulnerable with and I love that he was there to offer, support, protection, advice and help her to find herself again.
I love this series and can not wait for the next book in there series.
Natasha has the amazing ability to make me feel seen within her words and writing I will always read your books, quietly chanting "we want me"

Second chance romance done right! Natasha Allen really writes some of the best golden retriever mmc's. Roman is no exception to this rule.
The chemistry between Ruby and Roman was sizzling. I appreciated that the story didn't just revolve around their physical chemistry. Both characters acknowledged their shared past in a head-on and mature way, taking accountability and talking ish through. Especially Roman showed a lot of growth and maturity in the way he showed up for Ruby, regardless of their relationship status.
I'm a sucker for interconnected standalones, and I loved the cameos of book one, Serena and Rhet, and their extended family. I would definitely recommend this if you're looking for a grown and realistic romance with a dash of spicy fluff.

This book was devastatingly good!! Thankyou so much Natasha for the advanced reader copy. I absolutely loved this book and couldn’t put it down.
Ruby & Roman are absolutely everything, from their heartbreaking past and broken relationship to their present friendship and their banter is absolutely spot on.
Loved all the characters apart from Rubys boyfriend, that guy is a douche. This book is absolutely crammed with friendship, love, banter & heartbreak.
This book was easily a five star read and can’t wait to see if there will be a book 3

This was my first time reading something from Natasha and omg it didn't disappoint. This book was emotionally intense in the best way!
Ruby and Roman are everything. Their heartbreaking past ( i was so sad in the first few pages) complicated relationship, and current friendship are full of raw emotion, and their banter is perfect.
I adored all the characters (except Ruby's boyfriend) This story is filled with love, friendship, laughter, and heartbreak. Definitely recommend this one!

This is another sweet story from Natasha Allen. I love her stories, and this was no exception. We meet Ruby, who is off to have some alone time, and decide what her future might look like. Roman shows up in a moment of need to help her out. He's regretted pushing her away in a dark time for him, and wants to make things up to her. This is a lovely tale of coming to terms with things, learning to let go, and that sometimes what we need is right there already. Heart breaking at times, and heart warming at others, this is a book I would recommend.

Absolutely love Ruby and Roman. Definitely felt all the feels in this book. Laughter, love, friendship, heartache. It was so good. I was definitely hooked. This is the first book I’ve read from Natasha Allen. Will definitely read more!!!
