Check your triggers at the door. This book is dark.
ARC review:
You can't escape your fate. You can't change your last name, or where you came from. This novella is filled to the absolute brim with darkness. We come to know a strong FMC and the male lead that is just following his destiny. I picked up some Romeo and Juliet vibes.

This book was phenomenal! The way Sk Pryntz writes has you hooked from the very beginning!

Chapter 11 had me gasping/ giggling and in hysterics although, I am not too sure that will be the same reaction for everyone. The things Maddox our MMC does to Vivian is unhingeeeeeed but if you love dark books then this is for you!

The way Maddox talks to Vivian had me melting! I need a Maddox in my life please!!!

Mind you the ENDING!!! THE ENDING!!!!! I can’t say much morE BUT just add this to your TBR! Ok, cya love ya bye

I listened to this on audio and omg it was an experience!! Dark, twisted, unhinged mmc. Definitely recommend the audio. It moves quickly but it made perfect sense! This university is full of secrets and the storyline had me hooked from the beginning.

This is book 1 of the ST. Valentines interconnected Series and WOW we are starting off with a bang!
ST. Valentines University filled with secrets, mystery, sacrifice and Vivian and Maddox’s story is dark and twisted. Its fast paced with a sassy FMC and unhinged MMC the dynamic between the MCs definitely has hunter and prey vibes and with the TW/CW taking up 3 pages you know you’re diving into a wild ride. This book seriously had me from start to finish and I mean that ending had me dropping my phone and picking my jaw off the floor!
Definitely recommend to those readers who enjoy dark, twisted, spicy and suspenseful reads.

Part of the St. Valentines series, this is the first book and what a starter for 10.

It quite simply drew me in, kept me simmering then ignited that touch paper. Yep! There were times you wanted to crawl into the book and slap a head or wring a few necks 🤭 The feels for this book are something else, the writing holding your attention the whole way through and boy! That ending 🤯

Please do read the trigger warning, this is not a fluffy romance in fact it’s not a romance at all 😬 Loved it…onto the next one.

The only thing that bothered me was the priest at the end. He should have been tortured, killed, burned... I mean, if Maddox was mad enough to kill a girl in the closet, why wouldn't he kill the priest.. But the author mentioned that the next author in the series needed the bastard alive. Understandable...

Innocent Vivian with the sassy attitude really didn't expect to have some lineage to the St Valentines academy. Some say fate brings you where you must be and where Vivian needed to be was there. Right place. Maybe the right time.

Maddox Valentine. Phew. Sexy but sure is a douche. Couldn't he look past the ritual sacrifice? Nope. He should've listened to Vivvy. Loved the chemistry between them. I definitely screamed heck yeah at the end! 💪🏻 Karma's a bi!ch! 😈

wow... miss vivian,what a badass she is! i can't honestly believe this book is as good as it is!! i can't believe she did THAT (no spoilers hehe) & my heart broke at the end! it defintely is like WTF at the end!

this is a novella & book 1 in the St. Valentines shared world & i can not wait to read more of this series,im so happy i have more of this world🥹😭

the writing is so good,it is honestly a joy to read a novella that isn't just pure smut,the tw's are heavy on this but the main thing i appreciate it is the author didn't just label it as non con or dub con and full blown rape is in the tw's & does have on page details i got to that bit it did shock me i cant lie,i read a lot of dark themed stuff but it was heavy even in a novella! honestly i cant even think of any other reason i would rate this book any lower than 4.5 honestly! its only .5 shy because i wanted it to be longer🥹😂

the writing style is done so well,the plot is good and is honestly a great opening story and an introduction to the characters! i loved the taboo element & it's actually my first professor student book & i loved it more than i thought i did! it gets going from the get go as novellas do! i loved maddox & im well aware he is crazyyyy but he's a good crazy okay🥹

plot?? 5⭐️ honestly to even find a novella with good plot is few and far between so the fact this even has plot is a testament to how good of a story this is going to be! i loved how we got background,we got history between characters,we got detailed intros too all of it!!

characters??? 5⭐️ loved maddox,he's a good crazy and is definitely a walking red flag but i fear my perspective on red flags is basically pink now heheh (im not even mad i loved him hehe) & vivian,she's a badass & i feel she has a good story and i hope we get her story at some stage if we don't already have it yet🤭 (ill keep you posted because i have the whole series x)

spice?? 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ spicy,but like a good amount of yummy spice,the ✌🏼 is honestly my fave to read,🩸 spice though & virgin fmc... i usually hate the virgin trope but i love it now after reading how well it can be done

What was THAT!!! 😭🔥 I swear, I got so lost in all the chaos that I didn’t even realize it had ended. One minute there were dark rituals and twisted secrets, and the next… I’m just sitting there like, “Wait, that’s it??” 😭

And that connection between them? Yeah, let’s be honest — it wasn’t just tension 😏. There was something dangerous, magnetic, and so wrong it felt right. I couldn’t stop reading even when I told myself I should. Pure chaos, pure obsession.
But here’s the thing — Maddox never really won me over 🙃. He had his moments, sure, but Vivian? She absolutely carried this book on her back. Bold, unapologetic, and a total force of nature 💅🏼🔥.

Still, that ending left me aching for more. You know that feeling when a story ends but your brain refuses to move on? Yeah, that. I honestly think this book needs a bonus chapter — just for Vivian. Because one book isn’t enough for her. 💀✨

Bloody Valentine is the first book in a ten interconnected novella each by a different author. Here we meet Vivian and Maddox. She's a transfer student to St. Valentine's University where Maddox is a professor. She learns of the school's dark pasta and a secret society that runs it. Maddox is the leader of said society, being a descendant of the main founder himself, St. Valentine. She is his target for the ritual that happens every year. The book ends with Maddox capturing Vivian and taking her to the ceremonial arena.

SK does it AGAIN. The way she can write a MMC who is a giant walking red flag and still have me swooning is impressive. The secret society that was created with well developed unhinged characters sucks you right in. I ate this up so fast there was no stopping once I started. SK has introduced me to the world of Horror Erotica and I think I love it here! Always check your triggers, there was definitely some parts that made me “oh I shouldn’t be turned on by this” but I was in fact. Hahaha thank you for the opportunity to drive into your beautiful dark stories!

This novella was gory and twisted and spicy. It definitely leans more towards horror than romance with an extensive list of trigger warnings that you should absolutely not skip.

It was a very quick read and I’m interested to see what comes next in the stories from the other authors of these interconnected Valentine’s Day novellas.

Wow I think that’s the darkest I have ever read, and now I’m questioning my sanity because I found it hot and oh so good. Definitely enjoyed the chase and the thrill with each turn of a page. Can’t wait to venture into the next book of this series. Definitely hooked on the St. Valentine university series and this was just book one!

Welcome to St Valentines where we jump straight into the chaos! This book was short and dark. I was invested the moment I read the trigger warnings. I was so curious to read how so many trigger warnings can fit in a short book but they are all in there.

Bloody Valentine is the first book in 10 interconnected novellas all written by different authors.

Also a little tip for the future, always listen to the ghosts that try to keep you alive. Okay?!

This is the first of the valentines set of books coming out and it was definitely dark and smutty !! It follow Maddox the king of the society and Vivian was to be his sacrifice. Vivian not know she had relations to the valentine world some would call it fate or some would call it that right place at the right time !!

SK’s books always hook you in from the start they are dark and spicy and unhinged and always have a plot twist that will leave you speechless!!

I love reading SK’s work it never fails to disappoint!! Can’t wait for the rest of the books !!
