Divination & Deceit

Sorcery & Science (Rebooted) #3

by Ella Summers

If you saw the future, could you change your fate?

Former paranormal princess Terra Cross works as a private investigator in a remote town at the edge of the galaxy—rescuing missing kids, unearthing long-lost loot, and staying far, far away from the political machinations of vampires and witches.

Until an old acquaintance shows up on her doorstep with an ominous prophecy.

To prevent a massacre before it happens, Terra will have to unleash her terrible, treacherous power of foresight. If she fails, she will lose everyone she loves. And if she succeeds, she will surely lose her mind.

Divination & Deceit is the third book in the Sorcery & Science urban fantasy series.

About the author

Ella Summers has been writing stories for as long as she could read; she's been coming up with tall tales even longer than that. One of her early year masterpieces was a story about a pigtailed princess and her dragon sidekick. Nowadays, she still writes fantasy. She likes books with layered plots, lots of action and adventure, and a touch of romance. When she is not busy writing or spending time with her two young children, she makes the world safe by fighting robots.

Originally from the U.S., Ella currently resides in Switzerland. She is the author of Sorcery and Science, a fantasy adventure series set in a world splintered by magic and technology.

Very fast paced Swords, Magic, Futuristic tech Adventure

This series has it all magic, swords, futuristic technology, and adventure. It is extremely well draft like all of Ella Summers series.
Once started I really could not put-down this particular book until I finished.
Terra is a kickass Elite Prophet. Her childhood friend Jason Is an Elite Phantom. They have been getting into trouble together since they were toddlers.
Now they are fighting against the multiple powers that be in their universe to save the innocent. Not just innocent Mages like themselves, but also humans, witches, vampires, etc.
There is also a slow burn romance between Terra and Jason. A pesky, if charming, vampire warrior, is trying to earn Terra trust after he betrayed her. He also wants to win her away from Jason.
I rarely award 5 stars. But this book is amazing.

Want more now!

This book did not disappoint. I have been waiting years for this book since I love read the last in the series and was beginning to despair that it won’t be released. Then a few days ago it popped up in my feed on kindle and I have been hooked since. Still intrigued about the series and all the possibilities and really hope this next book won’t take years.

If you saw the future, could you change your fate?

This book was spectacular, explosive and phenomenal.

I'm ready for the next book! Every time a new book comes out in this series, it surpasses the previous book.

Full of mages, paranormal hunters, supernaturals, action, adventure, magic, insanity, surprises, darkness and missions.

Perfect for readers of urban fantasy/sci-fi/fantasy.
