Emily is the author of several young adult, new adult, mystery and romance novels. She lives in a small town in Ohio similar to the towns in her stories. Her favorite place to read is in her pool.
"Snowed In With the Boy Next Door" by Emily Camp is a delightful and heartwarming novella that brilliantly captures the essence of nostalgia. This quick read is perfect for cozying up with on a chilly evening. The relatable characters make it easy to feel a part of their world. The humor sprinkled throughout the book adds a charming touch and keeps the story lively and engaging. Emily Camp's writing style is both witty and inviting. Her knack for crafting funny banter between the characters is one of the book's highlights, making their interactions feel genuine and endearing. Overall, its a wonderful read for anyone looking for a short, sweet escape into a snowy romance!
I always enjoy a good snowed in story. This novella brought me back to my teenage years and on the cusp of young love. Its a great read especially during the winter. I look forward to reading more from Emily.
This book was a short holiday novella! This was filled with banter and laughs! I throughly enjoyed this holiday read!
This story follows Lily and Cade. Lily can’t stand Cade. He’s always teasing her and picking on her. Lily has a crush on Julian and has for awhile…. But things take quiet the turn when a snow storm hits the town and Lily’s mom is away for work and Cade’s dad is out trying to help during the storm. Lily has no option she’s left to go to Cade’s house when power and everything goes out! They have to survive this storm together!
I also appreciate that Lily and Cade both had back story to their upbringing as well.
If you enjoy a sweet YA romance then this is a definite must read. Lily and Cabe are neighbors who have known each other most of their lives, each having had their share of tragedy. As they go through high school, Cabe has made it his mission to annoy Lily daily and it drives Lily insane. The night a major snowstorm hits, their town loses power forcing Lily to stay at Cabe’s house where he has a generator and a fireplace to stay warm. Being stuck together, alone with no distractions forces both of them to confront their true feelings for one another. I loved every bit of this book! The characters and storyline are very relatable regardless of the reader’s age. Emily has written yet another great book that tells a story that touches the heart and has you fall in love with the characters.
Snowed in with the boy next door follows a 15 year old girl’s story during a terrible snowstorm. So she has to go to her neighbor so they could stay together untill the storm passes.
I really enjoyed this book, it was everything I needed after reading multiple very emotional books. It was the perfect palate cleanser, funny, short and interesting. Although some parts made me wanna just stop reading because of the second hand embarrassment but it just made it so much more relatable because there have been times I do embarrass myself.
Honestly recommend it to everyone who is in a reading slump and needs a quick read.
Ok, this book brings back so much nostalgia for me!! It’s about Lily and Cabe, neighbors and enemies. When a snowstorm hits and their parents are gone, Lily goes to Cabes house to keep warl after the power goes out. What follows is enemies to- not lovers, but as much as a high schooler gets.
It had all the feels! It was the first book I’ve read from this author, and I loved it so much!! I can’t wait till it’s released and I can (hopefully!) buy a signed physical copy for my shelves!
I absolutely adored it and would recommend it. Thank you so much Mrs. Camps!
Another amazing book !!! I just love her books! This is a cute YA read about Lily and Cabe. Lilys mom goes out of town for the night. Ben who is Cabe dad has to go help with electricity as he is a lineman. A bad snow storm hits and Lily has to go to Cabe house. They have fireplace going and use generator at times. Those two are left alone in a snowstorm! Go read this book! It’s fun and hard to put down!!
Another great read by @EmilyCamp! Definitely a five star ⭐️ read for me. I received this as an ARC. It’s a YA novel about two teens that get snowed in together during a storm. NO SPOILERS! I started this book today technically and finished it in one day! If u like YA books there’s many more by her. As well as mysteries too. She doesn’t disappoint.
This was the sweetest and cutest short novella! Young love is the best love! This book has funny banter if you’re looking for enemies to lovers, forced proximity and just a sweet YA read without the spice, this is one for you! I love Emily’s writing and she just knows how to bring the story to life!
This was such a quick, fun audiobook! I didn't love the narrator but it is what it is! The story follows Lily who (like the title says) gets snowed in with the boy next door who she can't stand. I'd say that this is the perfect winter romance for teens. If you are open to reading young adult books, you will likely enjoy this one.
It was a cute enemies to lovers novella. The chemistry between Lily and Cabe honestly was refreshing and so real. Brought me back to my high school days. I would definitely recommend this book. Can’t wait to check out other books by Emily Camp
The characters were super relatable. The style of writing made me feel like I was in the story with the characters. Her mom went out of town for work and a big storm hit which forced her to the boy next doors house. This is one of my favorite reads of 2024!
I absolutely 💯 loved this book. My favorite line had to be from Chapter 3 when Cabe said, "who knew you could move like that with something stuck up your (peach emoji). The banter between characters was so good, had me laughing 😃

Absolutely loved this adorable story! Reminded me of my first love in high school and all those feelings were so relatable. I'm also a huge enemy to lovers fan and that's pretty much what this was. Can't wait to read more of Emily's books!
I absolutely loved this book. I couldn’t get enough of the banter between Cabe and lily. Emily knows how to write a story and have you hooked from the very beginning. I can’t wait to read more from emily.
I truly enjoy this story; it's a warm, sweet romance that warms the heart. I especially love the narrator, and while it's a perfect winter read, it's the kind of story you can listen to any time of the year. I also appreciate Emily Camp's writing style, which adds to its charm.
I'm a sucker for Young Love and this sucked me right in. Snowed In, eating the groceries, playing poker and learning about each other. Total 5 star read for me. Loved it.
