Part 1 of Steele Waters introduced us to four people whose worlds collide in more ways than one.
Phoenix has shed some of the hard exterior he possessed prior to meeting Deja. He's confident that this woman has broken down his walls and reached through to pluck his heart out of his chest. At least that's what he feels like as the atmosphere switches and danger also barges through his wall.
Deja has found love in Phoenix. He's complex yet pliable. When she's with him, she feels everything a woman should feel in the presence of a real man. There's no doubt in her mind that Phoenix is her person. However, her curiosity leads her straight into dangerous territory, where lies and betrayal exist.
After an adulthood plagued by women at his beck and call, Blaise has finally met his match. While navigating Lauren's case, he's torn between loyalty to her and where his heart is leading him... which is straight to Janelle. After a few mishandled situations involving the two women, Blaise has to put his foot down if he's to snare the likes of Janelle. If he thought a tornado flipped his life upside down, it was just the beginning.
Unassuming yet seductive, Janelle has flaws more profound than the physical. Her heart and mental are in shambles. And not at the hands of a man. She's keeping Blaise at a distance for good reason. His indecisiveness is not what she needs in her life. With a family who seemingly hates her, she's struggling to make sense of her life. Moving to Crestview Waters was supposed to be a fresh start for her. However, a tornado and fragile feelings threatens to ruin it all.
This finale was definitely worth the read!! My boys Phoenix and Blaise came soooo far, being molded and shaped into the perfect yet imperfect men for my girls Deja and Janelle <3 i appreciated the shy topics of how the most corrupt people can be living among us in church playing the innocent card. The twist and turns through this story had be on the edge, especially since it involved children :,) but 5/5 ending, it all happened for a reason!!
I’m glad this is over. It was a pretty decent conclusion and I’m glad all the loose ends got tied up. Lauren and Mccombs got everything they deserved. Some things were predictable but overall a decent story. Also still needs an editor this book gave me whiplash when all of sudden you’re in a totally different setting all within the same paragraph.

I am new to M Monique’s books, but very impressed. Book 1 and 2 for Phoenix and Deja’s love story was so sweet. The development of these characters was really good. Phoenix was so hard and ice cold from a horrible marriage, that it was difficult to see how this author would bring him to the light of love. She did a fabulous job of melting his heart for Deja to heal. Blaise and Janelle had that same love connection but they really go through a lot of drama to get to their happy place. This book takes you through a lot of drama but love prevail and our two couple will bring tears with their happy ending. I must say Ms Monique I could not figure out what happened to Quin to the end. Must read!
Miss girl ate down with this series. The build up was superb. The way hints were sprinkled in that all was not right in the world before you become fully immersed in one murder mystery just to wind up in two more all while being edged by scandal after scandal. My brain is over stimulated with all different plots and subplot chugging along until the grand finale that went off with a few more fireworks....Chile, I would give my last $5 to read this series for the first time again.
(3.5⭐️) This book was doing so much lol. Think if any Tyler Perry production & Law & Order: SVU had a baby….it’d be this book. There were like 56 different storylines at once, but it kept you invested. Anyway, I can appreciate the character development of a couple of the characters but I hate how it just… ended. A nice lil epilogue or something to bring closure would have been nice.
I truly enjoyed this series! The Steele Family is just what I needed and wish that I had. The plots, the twist and turns had me reading well past my bedtime. I wish there was another book. Steele Waters series were my introduction to this author and I can’t wait to get into another one of her books….. well done M. Monique, Well done!
4.5 ⭐️ Took me a little bit to finish because I got distracted but this series is a suspense romance full of drama in a small town. The tea is hot and nobody was safe. I hate that there’s no epilogue but I enjoyed.
While the first book focused on romance this book focused on the mystery and secrets that would touch everyone loves. I loved how this story concludes with fleshing out all of the hidden secrets in the small town.
Giving the series a 4/5! It was really good! I couldn’t guess how everything was going to play out. The author wrote this so well that main characters were lying and even I believed them lol. I was upset when I found out Blaise had lied 😒. He’s been forgiven but still! I would recommend 🫶🏾
The finale was great! The twists and turns! This right here?!?!? Chile, This was a book! Y'all read this book! I loved Phoenix and Deja. Blaise and Janell. The love they had for their ladies! Read the book, parts 1 and 2.
Loved the storyline and enjoyed the book, but at some point, the author started to refer to Janelle’s parents as Mr. and Mrs. Ruben, which is Deja’s last name, and that was very distracting.
Good series but I feel like the ending was kinda rushed but still a good read. I like how Blaise and Phoenix were stand up men and didn’t play about their women. Lauren was a real lunatic but she got her karma in the end.
