What I initially chose as a light summer beach read for my husband transformed into a page turning journey for me—a suspenseful drive to vacation that I couldn't put down. I must confess, governmental thrillers aren't typically my first choice, but after diving into The Cohort, I might just be a convert.
The character development was a delightful surprise, and the plot twists at the end left me yearning for the next book. While I adored the main character David, Bailey emerged as one of my absolute favorites. I can hardly wait to see what thrilling twists await in the sequel!

Nathaniel Sizemore’s The Cohort is a masterclass in the thriller genre, blending relentless pacing with jaw-dropping twists that will leave readers breathless. From the first page to the last, this novel grips you tightly and doesn’t let go, delivering a rollercoaster of suspense, intrigue, and emotion.

The story follows a protagonist caught in the crosshairs of a shadowy organization known as The Cohort. Sizemore brilliantly crafts a world teeming with danger, deception, and high stakes. His knack for vivid storytelling immerses readers in a maze of complex characters and a web of conspiracy that unravels in the most unexpected ways.

What sets The Cohort apart is its relentless momentum. The chapters are short and punchy, yet filled with tension and detail that compel you to read “just one more.” Every twist feels both shocking and earned, a testament to Sizemore’s careful plotting and talent for misdirection. Just when you think you’ve figured things out, he pulls the rug out from under you in the best way possible.

The book also delves into thought-provoking themes, touching on trust, betrayal, and the lengths people will go to for survival. These deeper layers elevate the story beyond a simple thriller, offering a narrative that’s both heart-pounding and resonant. Sizemore describes the various settings (including Kiawah Island) in ways that draw the reader into the book and the complex character’s lives.

Fans of high-stakes thrillers will find The Cohort an absolute delight. Nathaniel Sizemore has delivered a gripping tale that is destined to be a standout in its genre. If you’re looking for a story that will keep you on the edge of your seat and constantly guessing, The Cohort is a must-read. Don’t miss this explosive book!

The Cohort, the newly released novel by Nathaniel Sizemore, is a page turner that captures your attention from the first chapter.
David Stoneman, the protagonist, finds himself fighting for his life on a remote South Carolina island having unwittingly been drawn there by a powerful group, The Cohort.
This fast moving novel will be hard to put down. Additionally, Sizemore has incorporated historical facts about the South Carolina region which the reader will find most interesting. I recommend The Cohort for anyone who is a political thriller aficionado.

The Cohort was a very good story with a lot of history thrown in that would make you want to learn more. There were a lot of twists and turns. The characters were likeable as well. My only complaint is with the editing. Things happened and they moved on without completing the issue. For example a character was injured and just went on like nothing ever happened. And who purposely goes on a mini vacation to an island expecting a severe hurricane.....

The 2nd book in the David Stoneman series did not disappoint! I read the last 250 pages in the last two days because it was so interesting and kept me turning the page. Nathaniel knocked it out of the park with the storyline here! Anyone who likes corrupt characters and multiple storylines will love this book.

Really enjoyable read

Great setting in the mysterious South Carolina island. Nice twists and turns I did not anticipate. I haven’t read many fiction books lately but I know that this one wouldn’t disappoint. Go on kindle and buy it or have a paperback sent to your house!
