Come along as we follow Alexandra (Lexi) Tanner, a Staff Sergeant, and Rafael, a Captain, both in the army. She fought her way out, but not before he took pieces of her. Rafael is following a pull to seek more out of his career and looks to get away from his failed marriage. They find themselves in a chokehold to each other in a forbidden romance.

absolutely devoured this book in a day. I fell head over heals with Lexi, truly such a strong FMC and I love that! plus a golden retriever military man 🤤🥵 yes please!

If I could rate this book more than 5 stars I would.
This book had the spice and story line to keep you interested but make you fall in love within pages of beginning it. I could not get enough of it or read it fast enough.
I am a sucker for military romance books and this one did not disappoint. I have read the entire brightest stars series as well as the Flight and Glory series. Loved them both, but not like I loved this book! Every second of it all.
This book displayed all the emotions, raw feelings, struggles and worries of the Army and love so well.
Do yourself a huge favor and add it to your TBR
