There’s a bomb on the sleigh and my god do you think Santa and Mrs Claus might once, just once, get a normal Christmas?
Yep, it’s time for another instalment of Reindeer Games and this one picks up right where the last one left off - with a massive, explosive cliffhanger!
Enter Jack Frost and Sandra the reindeer as potential new heroes, who have to catch up to the doomed sleigh and try to save the day - while the CIA (Christmas Intelligence Agency) try to work out who is behind this dastardly, neverending scheme.
As with the other two entries in this series, I had a festive blast with this one. The ability of the author to keep stuffing this stocking full of pop culture references was truly impressive - the standouts to me were the nods to The Shining, the Exorcist, and a delicious homage to Black Christmas too. Too stuff.
The action comes thick and fast, the gore comes hot and gloopy, and we’re once again treated to that signature AB Finlayson style of scares intermixed with laugh out loud humour for a true selection box of festive entertainment.
This series finale, like the other two, is a triumph and will also let you know exactly what will happen if you go rummaging in Santa’s massive sack.

More fun than a sack of toys!
Great pop culture references and enough action to last until the fourth(?) book!
I always find joy in reading these novellas. They are a holiday bonus for those of us who will forever argue in favor of Die Hard as a Christmas movie.
