Should I start a “it made me blush” shelf ? SHEESH. I went in blind but I had an idea of what was to come from the title. I had fun. It’s short and sweet and SPICY.
This was one spicy, good Christmas book. I loved each character, but my favorite is Jayme. She was just unapologetically herself and loved hard. Cooper, her husband, loved that woman down and gave her any and everything she wanted. Caleb, Cooper's brother, came home from jail and didn't know what he was getting into with his sister-in-law and brother. Briche was just in love with her boss, Cooper, and knew she couldn't have him. This all changed due to an unforeseen accident. When everybody came together 🔥🔥🔥. The dynamic they worked out was beautiful. I really enjoyed reading them, finding their footing in this situation. They did not play about each other at all. When Briche's mama came into town and thought she was gonna talk to her any kind of way, she was proven wrong because all of them got her together about their girlfriend. Latoya Nicole is the GOAT of Christmas books. Sis does not miss at all.
I enjoyed this story because it was messy & weird. the spice was nice, somehow tame (imo) to be 4 people? the grammatical & spelling errors made me laugh just like the banter between the characters did. I didn’t take it too seriously… but, I will say this, a romance between two women & brothers gives Alabama! especially that epilogue…

Mannn… I think that I want to be an angel baby. This book was a straight, ghetto mess, but I loved every minute of it. Hey, it it works for you I’m all for it. Briche’s family treated her like trash but they were the trashy ones. I loved how Cooper, Jayme and Caleb rallied around Briche when she was in the hospital.
