Kurukshetra Anusmaranya is an enthralling and well-crafted historical fiction novel that offers a mesmerizing journey into ancient Central Asia. What initially seemed like an intriguing read turned into one of my favorite books by an Indian author—a true page-turner that seamlessly blends history, mathematics, and mystery.

The story follows Suhar, a brilliant mathematician, as he embarks on a riveting quest between Parthia and Bactria (or "Bactriana"). His mission? To decode messages hidden within Kasper containers tied to the feet of ravens. With the aid of Onisha, a Chandala mastermind, Suhar must unravel a complex riddle. But can he decipher the message and solve the mathematical challenge that links back to the great Kurukshetra war? That is for the reader to discover.

The author masterfully weaves elements of ancient wisdom, delving into Boudhayana, Shukla Yajurveda, Katapayadi Sankhya, and Meru Prastara (permutations). These intricate references not only enhance the depth of the narrative but also immerse readers in the intellectual and cultural richness of the era.

For those passionate about historical fiction, Kurukshetra Anusmaranya is a must-read. It offers a compelling mix of adventure, knowledge, and the thrill of discovery—highly recommended!
