I grew up on a small farm on the outskirts of Sydney and as a keen horse rider, often competed in local gymkhanas and even broke in a few horses from time to time. As I was surrounded by animals, I decided at an early age to become a nurse, however I couldn’t stand the sight of blood and so opted for a career in teaching. It’s a bit ironic that I married a surgeon.

I read my first Mills & Boon novel when I was 17 and that encouraged me to continue reading romance novels; the lure of the tall dark handsome hero, who in reality I fell in love with and knew I was going to marry on our second date! After marrying a year later, we moved to Scotland with our six week old baby so my husband could work and study for his MD in surgery. After the birth of our second son we came back to Australia to settle in Tasmania.

I went back to University and up-graded my teaching diploma to a degree and then went on to do a Masters but still I felt as if something was missing. I sat down one day and began writing and everything clicked into place - I had finally found ‘my brilliant career’! I used to write from instinct rather than a specific plan, but now, so many books later I find a loose plan doesn't go astray. An idea will pop into my head, sometimes it will be just a simple phrase or a what if question and I'm away.

Writing is a skill that can be learned and the best way to learn it is to read and to write. So many people feel they have a novel in them and very probably they are right-the only trick is to get it out. My advice to ‘would be’ writers is to write, write, and write even more. Carry a notebook at all times and jot down ideas. And like any other activity the more you do, the more it feels comfortable.

I hope you enjoy my stories and look forward to hearing from you.

Jago Wilde was jilted two years ago by Mollie Cassidy, he was not happy but got on with life running his business and now also running his grandfather’s after the man had a stroke but life goes on he has two brothers but none of the are close, they were raised by their grandparents after the death of their parents but now he needs Mollie to help with his grandmother and is willing to pay her to be his fake fiancé for a weekend, he is pretty sure she will accept after all that has happened in the past but how will this weekend turn out?

Mollie was devastated that she had to jilt Jago but she really had no choice than to do so at the time, yes she had loved Jago but he never loved her, oh the chemistry between them was huge but love was what she needed after the life she had grown up in and now two years later Jago is here offering her something that she again cannot refuse for so many reasons but she knows the chemistry is still there.

One weekend together will spark up the cravings they have for each other and neither of them can deny them and soon the room is heating up as they succumb to that chemistry but can they say goodbye at the end of the weekend or will Jago finally see that he has loved her all along?

This is one that I highly recommend, sensual, moving and emotional, wonderful characters that were very easy to like, I loved seeing them finally open up to each other about their pasts.

My thanks to the author for my copy to read and review.

Fast paced and addictive! With the first book in the Wilde Billionaire Brothers series for Harlequin Presents, Melanie Milburne brings us a reunion story/fake relationship mix up with loads of drama and tension. I liked both of the main characters very much and could relate with them easily. I felt like the storyline was a bit rushed and not fully fleshed out in spots, but overall was a solid read and left me looking forward to Jack and Jonas in future books!

Tycoon Jago Wilde wants nothing to do with marriage after being left the day before his wedding. Mollie wasn't left with the choice of getting married because of her family. His grandmother, who isn't well, thinks everything is still good between them. They will do what they can for their separate families, but they can't fight what they still feel for each other.

Jago Wilde and Mollie Cassidy were engaged until she left him on the eve of the wedding. She was devastated but his family thought she wasn’t good enough. She needed to leave him because of her family situation. Now Jago approaches Mollie with an offer that Mollie can’t refuse. She’s trying to help her brother again, because he’s the only family she has left. He has problems and needs therapy. It’s not cheap so Mollie agrees to his fake engagement. What will his family think? Will they be upset? It’s only temporary because Jago doesn’t trust her. Their chemistry is still hot. What will they do with that? Can they fool everyone? Will they believe it? What will Jago think when he finds out the reason she left him? Could he forgive her? I was so rooting for these two. They deserve a second chance. Will they get it? I also as rooting for her brother? He deserves a wonderful life too. Worth the read. You won’t regret it. Melanie Milburne is an amazing author. I received this book for my honest review. I give it voluntarily.
