A captivating novel that delves into themes of family secrets, forbidden love, and the power of forgiveness. Set against the backdrop of a picturesque summer, the story unfolds as a young woman named Ellie confronts long-held family secrets and grapples with the consequences of her past choices.

It's a story about self-discovery and finding your voice. It's a story about healing and finding peace within yourself and with those around you. The ending of Summer Silence is bittersweet. Ellie finally confronts her past and makes peace with her family, but she also realizes that some things can never be undone. The novel ends on a hopeful note, suggesting that Ellie has learned from her experiences and is ready to move forward with her life.

Ellie is also both vulnerable and strong.She face challenges head on and ultimately finds her voice.Great Novel

4.5 ⭐️| Emotional story about betrayal, addiction and forgiveness. Joey & Raquel are a married military family with a beautiful daughter and a beautiful life. While Joey is battling the everyday life of the military world, Raquel is harboring an addictive secret that could turn their lives upside down. Joey is devastated when she finds out, but her loyalty will not let her leave her partner in danger.

I absolutely loved Joey! She was resilient & never wavered from what she felt she deserved. This heart wrenching story took a turn that I did not see coming. This book displayed character development, and makes you wonder what would you do if ever in a similar situation. Enjoyed the narration in the audiobook. Tina S. Transformation is becoming one of my favorite authors.

I listened to the audio version of this book and enjoyed it. This book was different from some of the normal books that I have read/listened to but I enjoyed seeing the journey between Joey and Raquel with snippets of Abigail being shown. These characters were going through a lot in the book. It broke my heart as I continued through the book and saw what happened between Raquel and Joey towards the end of the book. Seeing how silence can make a difference in life had me resonating with the main characters and thinking about how I would navigate different situations if I was in the book.

This audio was wild. I always love when narrators bring a story to life. Tina is one of my top authors to go to when i'm in a slump and this book was no exception. When it comes to addiction, it is a rough thing to read. Tina does a phenomenal job at making it feel like you need to listen and listen well. Not only did it make me think, but the dual POV made me feel super immersed in the story. Silence always has a cost, how long do you think you could be quiet?
