Reading a beatiful novel
Ultra Mortem in Aeternum is a beautiful, romantic novel, where the love between a fashion stylist Hyunah and a horse whisperer Axel is the main story, the time is early 21st century Europe.
It is a story so well told, with such a descriptive, detailed and romantic language, that the reader is transported to that time as the reading progresses.
It is a reading that advances in a fast way, but without leaving anything loose, at no time falls into the monotony, but on the contrary there is a variety of situations attached to the main story, which help to give a special touch, making the book more interesting to read.
The subtle but profound way in which the relationship between the protagonist and his love for horses is handled is striking.
It is definitely a story that should be read and recommended.

A double time - line story of the magnetic pull between two beautiful, complex people.
This is the third book of Hyunah Kim l have read. Normally l am a Regency era reader, but l was drawn in by the fact that the books were inspired by some personal experience. I love the sensitivity of the writing style and the unusual topic of "eternal"commitment and love ( with some bumps in the road). The use of several languages was a bonus for me as l could understand the French and German but appreciated the translations especially for the Latin.
I have to admit that with the double time-line l sometimes skipped ahead to see what would happen, then doubled back .
I recommend reading Hunah's books no matter the genre you prefer.

I am so glad to finally be able to read the second book of this much-awaited series. I would like to know when I can follow Hyunah and Axel's story. The author did not disappoint; it is as romantic and captivating as the first book. I am glad to see how the characters have grown based on their past experiences. The dialogues are on point and realistic because I know someone with past trauma, like our heroine, which makes her character relatable. When the author introduces the past and intertwines it with the present, it is sewn in perfectly so that it's not draggy like other stories; I like it. This book wants me to visit Europe and its incredible cities, an excellent setting narration by the author.

Great Story
This second installment is really captivating. I believe that one of the greatest griefs a human being has to experience and live through is that of mourning a loss. This book reminds us how difficult it is to live through the loss of a love and how to handle this feeling. It is very interesting to read about this in a novel because it is a feeling that everyone experiences but sometimes not everyone wants to talk about it. The above situation makes the reader feel identified not only with the story itself but with the characters and the feelings they experience. I recommend this book for all those who want to read a great and easy to read novel.

Highly recommended!
This book is the classic “chick flick story” that every girl dreamed of living at some point in her childhood. The romance between Hyunah and Axel can be felt on every page of the book!
In my opinion, the author, Hyunah Kim, did a great job describing every landscape, every horse, and each romantic scene. It definitely transports the reader to Vienna and immerses them in every moment of the story.
This is the type of book I enjoy reading to escape reality. The development of this romance definitely took me out of my daily life and let me dream again of my Prince Charming, just as I did when I was a child. Great book and highly recommended!

This sequel truly moved me. I wasn’t sure how Hyunah and Axel’s story could get even more emotional, but it did—in the best way. There’s such a quiet beauty to the way grief, love, and healing are explored here. The horse whisperer storyline added a gentle, almost magical touch that I didn’t know I needed. It’s tender, a little bittersweet, and filled with heart. A lovely continuation that made me feel everything all over again.

I was pleasantly surprised at how the book mixed love and the arts in a very unique way. The description of the setting makes this love story feel more real and as a reader you get a more immersive experience. The topics surrounding love, loss, and second changes weigh heavily on the romance itself because it talks about the other part as well, healing. I was really into Hyunah feelings and the struggle and emotions faced not being able to forget Axel.

"Ultra Mortem in Aeternum" is a fascinating book in the Vienna Calling series, a sequel to Dammi Mille Baci that made me relive my own feelings of love and confronted me with past feelings and pain. What I liked most about the book is that it delves into a love so deep that not even death can separate it. I think the characters are very well-developed, and I really enjoy the whirlwind of emotions I feel during this reading. This love story transcends everything, even eternity. I love the art and the passion that can be experienced in the book, as well as the incredible connection between the characters. Recommended.

To me, this author has a unique voice. I would definitely recommend reading the preceding book first (Dammi Mille Baci: Vienna Calling). There is an epic quality to this modern tale, like a medieval romance. This is the third book that I’ve read by the author, and I can confidently say, this is by far my favorite. The story winds between the past and the present, and really delves into the relationships of all of the characters. Not to give away any spoilers but I’ll say that the end leaves you hoping that the author writes the next book soon! I highly recommend this book!
