4.5⭐️

I’m so invested in Mae and Lorelai’s stories, these novellas have me in such a chokehold. Mistletoe Mayhem releases tomorrow! It is the 3rd novella in the World Intelligence Agency series which follows the lives of 2 women enduring unspeakable horrors and trauma, grief, and secrets.

This book/series is for the dark romance lovers who love it angsty and sexy with twists and secrets and betrayals.

Book 3 is where worlds collide, with Mae and Lorelai developing a really heartwarming friendship while in forced proximity to their literal army of obsessive, and possessive potential love interests. Budding attractions battle old resentments, and old wounds lead to MAJOR chaos. This book also introduces us to a new MMC (swooooon therapist/patient perfection) and gifts us with an incredibly steamy and unexpected scene between Cairo and our favorite high strung team leader 🥵.

Do yourself a favor and pick up this series and enjoy the mayhem.

✨ARC REVIEW✨

First of all, thank you H.B. Cliffy for sending me this arc, I absolutely freaking loved it. BUT HOLD UP, you mean to tell me that Atticus is back?! More evil than everrrrr?! Okok, this book had me on a damn roller coaster, plot twist hitting me from left to right 😂! I freaking loved Mae and Lai’s relationship so freaking much. They are two baddies who are saddies who are trying to work on their mental health and I love that for them. And my men are back! REN AND LEX, I love them soooo much. Don’t get me wrong, I love Ladrón too but Ren and Lex have me on a chokehold 🤭!! And a new man being added?! Jake?!? I love you too!! Lai getting freaky with Emmanuel👀👀?! Okay I see you gurl, because I would too. I just know that man is fine AF.

DON’T GET ME STARTED WITH FOX. I hate him but I also feel bad for him. He has mommy and daddy issues plus abandonment issues too. His childhood really fucked him up, because this mf has put everyone in fucking danger 😭. Like BRO, you’ve been talking to Atticus and probably didn’t know that the mf was fucking unhinged and so damn crazy 😭. Send him back to New Orleans right now ☝🏽!!

DO NOT START WITH CAIRO. He is so cute 😭. I literally love his character so much. He really doesn’t have that many chapters (I’m okay with that!) but you can tell he does have a heart and he’s really freaky 😜!! Him and lanch are so adorable lmfaooo. Like I’m glad everyone’s relationship is expanding 🤭🤭!

And then the ending. FOX. I hate you. I’ll pay for your therapy if you want😣! I’ll make sure they visit you at home too just to make sure you’re attending them damn sessions😒!

Anyways, enough of my yapping. I totally enjoyed this book so much. Mae and Lai are my babies and I love my girls so much. I need book 4 RNN bc I need to see what is going to happen to Fox. I need Ren and/or Ladrón to beat that mf up 😩! Maybe Lex can join in too.

5⭐️ ARC REVIEW: I absolutely love this series but this one was by far my favourite. I feel so lucky to have been able to read all 3 of the books in this series early and i honestly think ive found a new auto buy author!! This book was so good i wont say much because i dont want to give out any spoilers but i ate this up. I loved how you got to see POV’s from all the people associated with the WIA and the one there hunting aswell. I also loved the character development from lai and mae and seeing how far they have come and how they grown from there books. The storyline of this series is absolutely amazing and im so hooked on these characters: even tho jake might be my favourite 😍. But can we speak about that ending!!! I didnt know where it was going to go but i did not expect that! You cant leave us on that i need more!!!

Mistletoe Mayhem was an unexpected book, for me. I was expecting a wild ride, and it definitely delivered. What I didn’t expect was how much I’d love and admire Mae and Lorelei’s friendship.

These two have been through so much, and the way they lift each other up was amazing to read.

Now, the guys are still as possessive and crazy as I knew they’d be. Atticus still stole my heart, even though he’s the very last person who should.

Overall, the budding relationships in this snowy, Christmas setting won my heart and I can’t help but fall more deeply in love with this author. I’m really not well after that ending though, and I just know the next book is going to be even more wild.

Cliffhanger leaves you needing more!

Mae and Lorelai, together with all their men under one roof, even when the ladies are mad at them, still gave some amazingly spicy scenes! And of course, the return of the evil Atticus Lennon!
Another incredible story by H.B Cliffy
Once again, living up to the name, this book ends in a cliffhanger that will leave you screaming for more and needing to know what happens next!

Wow, this book was a rollercoaster!

Mae and Lorelai's stories combine, creating even more delicious drama and trauma to unpack! Add a spicy new relationship with a therapist and a betrayal from someone close to the team, and you have an excellent book. And, in classic HB Cliffy style, a cliffhanger, leaving you salivating for the next installment.
