⛄ARC REVIEW⛄
3.5 rounded up because I'm a horndog.
Bi-curious writer on holidays in an isolated cabin in the woods sticks his dong on the 'puckered hole' of a toppled-over snowman who becomes a fae (Jack Frost) and rails him for the first time. Short, smutty and with pine-scented cum. 10/10 would recommend, though the writing wasn't that majestic. But we're here for the 🌶️🌶️, right?
ARC through Booksirens, all my opinions are my own, etc etc ❄️❄️

I honestly don’t know where to start. This story was wild! *pauses to giggle*

Caught by Jack Frost by Taylor Wolf is a very quick and quirky seasonal read. It follows Bill a loner who enjoys spending the holiday season in his remote mountain cabin.
One morning he decides to take his coffee outside. in freezing temperatures. Naked. As we all do sometimes 🤣
He sports something odd, on further inspection turns out to be a snowman.

What happens next is so bizarrely fantastic and so unexpected. Turns out ‘The snowman’ is sentient and needs a curse breaking. Bill is the guy to do it 🫣 Bye Snowman, hello Jack Frost, a mischievous Fae who wants one thing most.

Stay with me…

Ummm ok, so this book is only 52 pages, there’s not much room for a lot of in-depth character development or a bunch of backstory.

It’s cute, it’s funny, it’s a bit weird tbh, but I liked it for what it was. It’s a spicy romp between a queer curious guy and a Fae who errrr tastes like fir trees. It took me around an hour to read and I don’t really have any complaints.

You really need to suspend your disbelief here. There’s an authors note at the begging, so give that a read. If you want a festive fumble of a read with piles of snow and sexy times, give this a go but don’t take it too seriously.

Okay I'm giving it a solid 3/5. The description was apt, this isn't just a novel about words, but instead a passionate love affair between the main character (a loner) and Jack Frost. I enjoyed that there wasn't unnecessary fluff in the novel and no judgement between main character and just an openness to exploration.

I did enjoy the HEA and the descriptions were vivid!

Finished in 1 Hour

It was short but had many things that had me hooked, fae, magic, and many spicy moments. I was not expecting it to go down the path it did but I loved it. I wish we weren't left on a cliffhanger.

I received this as an ARC and am leaving this review voluntarily and honestly.

Imagine if Jack Frost were fae, and he met a human after being ‘punished’ by Krampus. Jack and Bill (the human) then proceed to have a ridiculous amount of orgasms together. There. That’s the book. If you take it for what it is, it’s spicy and entertaining. Definitely going to read the rest of the trilogy.

This book delivers everything you hope for in a story like this: the epic weird moments, the fun spicy scenes, and, (of course) the non-human lover that keeps things fascinating. The story gives you what the description and cover tell you, and I had such a good time reading it.

It is a short book, so if you want very deep emotional connections and character development you might find it going too fast, but if you don't mind that it's great. If you're in the mood for something fun and something not completely normal, this book is worth picking up.

I got this book as an ARC, but that doesn't change any thought I just wrote down. I truly liked it and feel very lucky to have found this masterpiece. It made my night very fun. I'm leaving this review completely voluntarily!

Arc reader review:

A super short book, but one of the most erotic I've ever read!

The writing is super fun in the first few pages I couldn't stop laughing. The writing is great, because even being a smut book doesn't mean that the writing has to be terrible. And I loved the happy ending in the end!

I want to read the next ones!

Thank you for the copy of the book <3

Oh, what can I say about this little Christmas erotica series except that it's a merry old romp down the naughty list? Buckle up for some festive spice because Taylor Wolfe isn't mucking around here.

Caught by Jack Frost kicks things off with, wait for it... Bill shagging a snowman. Yep, you read that right. If you're curious where that wild choice leads, you'll just have to dive in to see how Bill handles his first time with a bloke.

Then there's Caught by Krampus, which is MMM mayhem featuring some creative use of a prehensile tail. Let's just say Krampus isn't afraid to get... hands-on. Or tail-on, as the case may be.

Both stories are only 30 pages, so they're a quick, spicy snack if you're after something a bit out there for your holiday reading. Krampus was the standout for me, but honestly, why not give them both a crack?

They even cheekily hint at a happily-ever-after, which feels downright wholesome after all that debauchery. And don't worry, there's more to come *ahem*- Caught by Santa is dropping later this month, and you bet I'll be diving headfirst into that sleigh ride.

Heads up though: Wolfe has an unapologetic fondness for the phrase “puckered hole” and “channel” also sneaks its way into both books, consider yourself warned!

CAUGHT BY JACK FROST is the first in the Caught at Christmas novellas. You are told from the start that it is a low-plot, high-steam erotica novella, and that is exactly what you get.

Bill is by himself in a cabin for the holidays, enjoying the remoteness by walking around without any clothes on. He has recently come to the conclusion that he doesn't like women in that way, but prefers the male body. He decides one of the first things he will do when he returns to 'civilisation' is to visit a gay club. But then he finds a fallen-over snowman and a note that gets him wondering…

I did have to suspend belief for this one, but then it's fantasy erotica, so it shouldn't be a surprise. It is a very quick, very easy story that leads nicely onto the next one.

If you're after a quick, hot read, then this could be it.

If I was unsure about my potentially latent gay feelings before, I certainly wasn’t now.

Bill is a successful fantasy novelist.

He owns a secluded cabin in the forest. Not big into Christmas celebrations, Bill prefers to keep things solitary and low-key.

The dreams. Bill’s Gay Awakening is very new to him.

The mysterious snowman appears…with a message.

The curse…can Bill break it???

But, still, the weird little note had give the snowman a name. Jack Frost.
And Jack Frost was about to get rimmed.

Jack’s origin story…and his true appearance. 🤩

Strong variety; beautiful intimacy. High marks for anatomy, physiology, verbiage, and descriptive detail.

crisp, pine-needle tasting… 😋

Enjoyable. And still takes the Gay Discovery seriously.

Good humor throughout. Very well written. Fun characters with easy, excellent chemistry.

Excellent story. Somewhere between HFN and HEA that totally works for this couple.

I glanced over the log, and I was sure it was just my imagination, but the snowman’s expression looked almost dreamily satisfied as its gaze remained fixed on the sky above.

This is a really short, insta lust story with high spice.

Bill is alone in his cabin, on his morning walk he finds a snowman called Jack Frost who apparently has been cursed. Despite the unusual method that’s needed to break the curse, Bill decides to go for it.

Well this is really all spice not much plot and for that it was perfect. It really was just one long scene and even though it is HEA you don’t really get to see if they make it, but it is suggested.

I liked the characters, despite how short this story is, the characters have depth, they didn’t feel dull at all.

This is really great if you are looking for a wintery, Christmassy series with spice that’s just on spot!

I liked this story and looking forward for the next one.

Thank you for the author and BookSirens for the ARC.

In the forward notes, the author declares that this book is "low-plot, high steam". What should be added is "suspend your disbelief". This is a ridiculous story. Kind of cute. Magic mushroom type cute.

To break a curse on a snowman…. yes snowman, a human man has to get steamy with him. And for some reason, the man is out in the snow, naked. Except for his boots and scarf.

Well, it is important to keep your feet warm and dry.

Bill, naked guy, breaks the curse and ends up with gorgeous, blue skinned Jack Frost. Jack's a Fae, Bill is attracted and the rest of the story explores bits of plot amidst kindle melting sizzle.

Did I enjoy the book? I don't know. Maybe I should read it again, a time or two. Certain parts……

Thanks to BookSirens and Taylor Wolfe for a free advance review e-copy of this novella, I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Note as this is a 30 page novella the review will be short.

Bill is at his cabin in the woods when he stumbles naked upon a well endowed snowman with a curious note attached to it.

What I liked: The scenario, some of the depictions.

What didn’t work for me: I didn’t fully read the description when I decided to try this ARC, I thought it was going to be a full book, so unfortunately I was expecting more of a story. What I got was about 90% sex and very little plot. I didn’t get any connection between either of the characters so was not at all invested in what was happening on the page.

Final thoughts: A short novella filled with sex and little story.

Who would like this: People who don’t need to feel a connection between MC’s. Fans of erotica.

Substitute for a little blue pill
The author was right in saying that there was little plot but lots of steam. If that is what you want, this is the book for you! We meet Bill on his retreat to his cabin in the woods contemplating changes in his life. After his parents’ death, he lost all interest in the magic of the season. Now, he is questioning his sexuality. He steps out of his cabin wearing only a cap and boots into the winter wonderland. He sees something near the tree line and investigates. What he finds is a disassembled snowman with a note clipped to him. Thus begins a whole new investigation for Bill.
I gave this short book four stars because it is pretty good for what it purports to be: erotica. If you like gay romance with a touch of fantasy but lots of salacity, you will want to read this book. I volunteered to review an ARC of it through BookSirens.

Tis the season to have some fun in the snow, though I don’t think Bill expected to have that type of fun. Bill is spending the holidays in a cabin, whilst trying to focus writing his next fantasy book. Though it seems he’s about to have a fantasy story of his own, including a mischievous Fae, that is Jack Frost. After having some interesting fun with a snowman, which breaks Jack’s curse, Bill is left wanting more and has his awakening.

I loved that this was short, yet the story didn’t feel rushed at all. If you want a Christmas short story that’s more spice than plot, then this is definitely for you. Perfect quick read whilst snuggled up under a blanket, whilst possibly wishing Jack Frost was real

This was a super short little read, only around 30 pages long so it takes no time to read. There was really no romance to it at all, it was entirely erotica, and it WAS hot, but I was expecting an HEA based on the info but it’s really only an HFN. There are a couple of books that are related (Caught By The Krampus and Caught By Santa) and you may get more about Bill and Jack but I didn’t read those as they’re MMM and that’s not something I’m interested in. For this one, it was well written, a little unbelievable at times (you’ll see when you read it—first couple of pages), but really hot. So… 4 stars from me!

Ridiculous but fun! Winter-themed gay romance featuring Jack Frost.

During his annual retreat to a remote cabin, Bill wanders outside naked (don’t worry, he’s wearing boots and a scarf) and sees a snowman with an interesting note.

The writing was a tight calligraphy that took me a moment to read.

To break the curse, fuck me. -Jack Frost

What follows is an erotic journey than soon turns into more.

…flicking my tongue over his slit and collecting the crisp, pine-needle tasting precum off his tip.

Don’t judge! Recommended for fans of gay romance, a short 30-page romp in the winter snow.

Well, I'm not sure what to say about this story.

If I could give you only one advice? Go into it with an open mind, and you'll have fun.

When I started reading, some questions appeared on my mind. I enjoyed having the answers during the story. It made all the difference when I think back. Although the author could continue with the story, taking a little time to explain some parts of the narrative was very important to me as a reader.

I got confused and surprised, and I laughed, but more than that, I enjoyed reading this story.

If you find a cursed snowman, will you try to help it and break the curse? 🤭

🐧 ARC REVIEW 🐧

I mean, you can't expect a lot from a short erotic story, I know. But... I guess it was just too much for me. The idea of this series, with Jack Frost, the Krampus and Santa getting down and dirty with their humans, sounds good and like a nice little sweet read between longer reads.

I'm not going to get much into details, because there's not much to tell that wouldn't be a spoiler. I will just say that the snowman part was too much for me. I mean... No, sorry. I guess this is a "it's me, not you" kind of thing. But it is what it is.

Ok so I love monster romances… Whether small novellas or lengthy novels, the characters are always super interesting and detailed. This one was no exception. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. The main character is sort of a hermit with a very curious mind and Jack Frost was a welcomed surprise. Jack Frost was very different from the traditional stories that I know or seen. He was dare I say it pretty hot… This book was super imaginative. It was a very fun, quick read with tons of spice just as all the best monster books are. I loved it.

Caught by Jack Frost by Taylor Wolfe is a short, four-chapter story that leans heavily on its steamy scenes to drive the narrative. The premise—a man helping a cursed "snowman" break a spell—is certainly unique and intriguing. However, the brevity of the story leaves little room for character development or plot depth.

If you're looking for a bite-sized, heat-focused MM fantasy romance, this might be worth a try, but don’t expect much beyond the surface.

It’s amazing where reading can take you when you have an open mind!

Although very short (only 30 odd pages), Caught by Jack Frost was a wild, smutty ride! It’s ridiculous, a little unhinged, but I am so here for it! Might not ever look at a snowman the same way tbh!

Because of the short length, there was very little character development but this story didn’t need it. If you’re looking for high art, this isn’t it. But if you want a fun “did I really just read that?” experience, this novella might be exactly what you need.

A solid 3 ⭐️ from me!

Caught by Jack Frost
By Taylor Wolfe

I loved it, so S.P.I.C.E.Y! This packs a punch in such a short story. It is wild, fun, hilarious and cute.

Bill finally finds what he’s been looking for in a cheeky snowman.

Jack made a bet thinking for sure that he would win, but along comes Will and changed everything.

I need more. I have to know what happens during their week together.

A fun silly little holiday read but not without a good bit of spice and heat! Jack and Bill were honestly so much fun to read about! This was a wonderful short story, perfect for the holidays! I was expecting a short, spicy and unhinged little read and that's exactly what I got!

It was a lot of fun and the emotional connection between Jack and Bill was a nice little surprise.

I would have liked a tiny bit more set up and maybe even a tiny bit more of a wind-down at the end bit over all, it was a perfect bit of naughty Christmassy fun!
