The Mystery of Peking Man (GKP Lost Treasure Series Book 7), my fortieth read from author Grant Kelly. An enjoyable 28-page short read. “I received a complementary Kindle copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review." The gifting of this book did not affect my opinion of it. I look forward to reading more from this author with Raphael’s Missing Painting (GKP Lost Treasure Series Book 8) & The RMS Queen Mary (GKP Most Haunted Places Series 2 Book 8) high on my TBR list. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

Audiobook: I enjoyed this short essay as much as the others in the series. I was amazed at the archaeological discovery. I was sad to learn about the loss of the fossils, and I can't help but wonder what happened to them. Although I can understand how these treasures could be lost during war time, I can only hope that someday the fossils will one day be "rediscovered". I thought the digital voice Mary G was easy to understand. I was given a copy of the audiobook. I volunteered, without financial gain, to post this review which reflected my honest opinions regarding this audiobook.

Quite interesting! If I had to guess where the Peking man bones ended up is they were moved fir safe keeping somewhere in China but been misplaced.

Here is a relevant point: ALL such remains are important but Homo erectus fossils have been recovered and studied.

I suspect Peking man will be found at some point. Reason being…We’re not talking T-Rex fossils here. Those are extremely valuable.

Homo erectus: Meh. It’s some old hominin, no razzle dazzle there.
