What happens when a fiery, punk rock chick meets a broody, cold hearted, billionaire music mogul?
I'm Stefania Moretti and I’m hellbent on making it big with my band, Boudica. But when I meet Grayson Rivers everything implodes.
After one sizzling night together, he offers the opportunity I've been desperately chasing - a dream recording contract for Boudica. The catch? He assumes I used my body to land the deal. Asshole.
Even though I’m utterly devastated, I can’t let my band down. I sign the contract, tying me to Grayson for the rest of my goddamn life.
Then just as Boudica’s star begins to rise, I get seriously sick. It turns out my best chance for recovery is a stint at Grayson’s luxury beach house. Not a recipe for disaster, or anything, right? Except that as I get to know the man beneath the suit, things start to change between us.
Can the guy who shattered my heart prove he's worthy of my trust and love? Or is it too late for this punk singer and broody billionaire to overcome our differences for a shot at forever?
Jó lett volna kicsit belelátni a zenei részébe a bandának.

Grumpy-sunshine romance between wild Rockstar and straightforward business man meets criminal minds. A gripping love story brought to life by new to me duo writers.
Stefania is a vibrant, energetic musician suffering from chronic fatigue syndrome, and that doesn't stop her electric personality from coming through. Grayson is the older Rivers' brother, and he is a broody, straightforward businessman with a heart of gold. These two mc's are polar opposites, but they fit so well together, and I love their relationship.
Boudica is performing at a local bar, Lacey draws Grayson as he is starting a recording company, and his brother Wolfe's fiancé's best friend is the lead singer. An instant electric connection between the two as they meet eyes across the bar. A hot one night stands turn disastrous by mistake, and Grayson does everything to fix it between them. A beautiful love story of forgiveness, caring, trust, and hot smexy ensues that is swoonworthy. However, Grayson is dealing with a stalker who is cyber attacking him and his company. Unfortunately, that puts Stef in harms way.
I am in love with these authors' love stories. They are emotional, intense, and swooning.
Tropes: Rockstar romance. MF. Stalking. Business man. Best friend's brother in law. Second chance. Billionaire. Opposite attract. Grumpy-sunshine. Chronic illness. Age gap.
Quote: “Know this.”“What?” she gasped as I continued to toy with her. “This…” I pushed a finger inside her slick, wet heat. “This is mine.” She nodded wordlessly.
I pulled out, dragging my hand across her clit. “Say it, Stefania.” Her eyes glittered, flaying me to the bone. “Yours. All yours.”
I did like this book more than the last one. But at the same time, it was confusing as to what the actual plot was supposed to be. The author needs to pick a plotline and stick with it. The first half of the book was just fine, but then she decided to mixup the plot and make things get really confusing.
Her health issue was something concerning for the first half of the book. But then, once she recovered from her collapse, it suddenly was never mentioned again and didn't seem to be a concern. The plot like took a severe pivot to the hacker aspect at that point. The author needed to pick one and expand on it, rather than having 2 done half-way.
The emotional connection between the characters needed to be developed more. I didn't feel it much. Sure, I felt it at the beginning when he hurt her and pushed her away, but after that, I didn't really get much from either of them. I couldn't feel anything from him, and there didn't seem to be much reason for her to sleep in his bed. It felt awkward to me.
I don't know if I will move to the last book in the series, since I haven't been too impressed with the first two. There is a good chance I will skip it. Who knows, I may get bored and decide to pick it up as a palette cleanser.
So I loved the first of this series, and while I did enjoy this it just didn't hit the same level for me. I never really felt much of a connection to them as a couple.
So I loved Stef. She is so much fun, but I think we got a lot of her character towards the beginning and then she just didn't seem so vibrant towards the end. I loved the first book because of the interactions with side characters which gave a better look at the main, but there wasn't so much of that in here which was a shame. I did love the way cfs was described in here! As someone who lives with it, it was fun to see it described properly.
I liked Grayson, I just wish we had seen more of him. He is surprisingly vulnerable which I liked, but that is never talked about or delved into and he just feels a bit like an incomplete character. I wish there was a bit less sex so that there was time for more chat!
The plot was fun and had a reasonable bit of drama in it and overall it's a fun and easy read.
Ok so this one will have you hooked from the start with not only the story between Grayson and Stef but by god the storyline will have you on tenter hooks!
I’ve not read a book that’s had me on the edge of my seat in a good while and this had me all over the place !
Our sexy broody billionaire and our Blue Haired Siren rock chick have a love story that will make you swoon. From a rocky start to a hero when her CFS kicks off to doing everything in his power to keep her healthy happy & safe.
Won’t go into too much detail as the storyline is amazing, just sit down get comfy and meet our handsome broody millionaire with by her quite amazing …… 😜
This was an odd book. I was all in for the first half. I thought I was reading a rockstar romance. There was angst and grovel and a very sexy MMC. I was prepared to read Stef's journey to stardom and her struggles with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and her relationship with Gray. About halfway in a stalker/hacker storyline is introduced and then the book goes south. You barely see her band again, the couple spend more time apart than together, the CFS has seemed to have magically resolved and I just didn't feel/believe/care about the hacker story. I wanted an epic rock romance and I got this instead.
This was a decent story however there were somethings there for purely drama. FMC illness being one, and the hacker being another.
Both those things felt completely unnecessary. The illness was used to give the characters time together but when it was no longer useful it dropped out of existence. If you give a character a chronic illness it kinda be nice to represent it and ppl who have it, so discuss life changes and ups and downs.
The hacker really was just unnecessary drama. I really started flipping through those scenes.
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 Spiciness rating: 🌶🌶🌶/ 5 Kindle Unlimited [ ✕ ] YES [ ] NO Standalone [ ✕ ]YES [ ] NO POV: first person - dual POV Genre: contemporary romance Tropes: rockstar heroine + billionaire music mogul opposite attracts age gap chronic illness grumpy + sunshine
My Thoughts: "Her Vagabond Heart" by Mary Waterford is an opposite-attracting, grumpy sunshine romance novel. This was my first read by this author, and it was fun. I like it when the hero and Heroine are entirely opposites, have nothing in common, and push each other out of their comfort zone. The plot and the writing were also good. I liked how multiple plots were going on in this book rather than just one main storyline. The chemistry between the hero and Heroine was also very nice, and I enjoyed their characters. Overall, it is an entertaining novel to read.
This is the 2nd of a series, but it can be read as a standalone and so far it has been my favorite in the series. We met Stef in book 1, but I started to love the character in this book. There was a lot to keep track of in this book between Stef’s band and their rise to fame and the hacker-turned-stalker. It was funny to watch Grayson, who everybody else was terrified of, be such a sweet and kind teddy bear where Stef was concerned. I really enjoyed this novel and look forward to the next book in the series.
This page turner had me hooked line and sinker from page one. This face paced story held me captive and didn’t loosen its grip until it was finished. The spice is spicing, the banter between the main characters is chefs kiss and the drama with HEA is outstanding. You won’t regret this read!
These notes are mostly for me to remember why I gave this book for stars when a tt video comes across my page again, may or may not contain spoilers, so read at your own discretion. . . . Grayson was a teddy bear, Stef was a fun FMC, I really enjoyed their banter. She had chronic fatigue syndrome, he took care of her, love that. Their sexy times were fun. There was a hacker/stalker.
I read this book to get out of my reading funk. It helped a little but the story was good. Characters were a breath of fresh air. A punk girl and a billionaire. Who saw that coming? Stef and Grayson have the chemistry. He would do anything for her. Stef needs him more than anything. These 2 have a great story.
Once again! Wow, you gals sure put together a phenomenal read! I love all the emotional moments, both conversations and internal musings. Discovery truly comes from within. Opposites attract almost violently and this was a unique and wicked storyline. Thanks for a great read again!!!!!*****
the enemies to lovers was everything i wanted in that book, another perf he fell first and fell harder was delicious, let’s not even talk about the protectiveness kink hoh “if he so much as breathes in your direction ill kill him”!! my only complaint is how stef was written, like the bright blue hair, no sir was not a fan of that
Stef is funny, tough and outgoing. Grayson is the complete opposite by wow the chemistry is off the charts. Loved the storyline with this book, can’t wait to reads more
I could not get into this book like I did the first book. I liked Graysons character but Stefania got on my nerves. I found her very annoying. I did like how a lot of questions I had from the first book were answered in this book. I'm so excited for Rhett's book. I just know I will love him.
