In this adventure Dr. Kirsch finds a colleague caught in a web of lies and deceit that lead to the Russian mob and murder. Follow Kenzie in this exciting adding to a fantastic series. Highly Recommended.
Well, this spiraled out of control quickly. I suppose that Kenzie will listen to Zachary’s hunches more now. I did like that she had a different reaction this time. She is a stronger person and took her fate into her own hands. This book was exciting and quite intense. I loved reading it!
Death's Charm is Book 13 of 13 in the Kenzie Kirsch Medical Thriller Series, but it's reader friendly if you read it as a standalone. That being said, I thoroughly enjoyed this book along with the rest of the series and I would definitely recommend reading the series!
Kenzie is devoted to her job while also making occasional forays into the world of charities. As the daughter of the founders of the Kirsch Foundation, there's an expectation that she will assist her parents in running the foundation until their retirement, at which time she will take it over. But for now, Kenzie is more than happy to keep working towards becoming a medical examiner. It comes as a shock when Kenzie attends a death call only to find that one of the supporters of the foundation has died. It seems pretty straight forward that her death was the result of impaired driving, and everyone seems to agree on it, until Kenzie digs a little deeper. All of a sudden, the foundation is at the core of this inquiry into the death of the woman, and Kenzie finds herself right in the middle. Like this author's other books, this one has the ring of truth to it. The characters all have that familiarity of folks you might meet on the street, and her knack for spinning a yarn that keeps you engaged is superb.
This is another book in the Kenzie Kirsch medical examiner series.
Kenzie is in the midst of yet another crazy case, this time with personal ties. This books is so thrilling, you just have to read it--you'll be on the edge of your seat and won't want to put this one down.
I received a copy of this book, and these opinions are my own.
I am a big fan of PD Workman--her writing style, plot, character development are all top tier. This book did not disappoint, and I highly recommend it!
A very entertaining book, easy to read and with great characters. The main character is a very smart woman, which I like, and she is doing the real detective work. The book, like the rest of the series, also brings up very interesting medical and ethical questions.
