OK, where to begin with this one?

We warn up with an introduction, merging into stores of old, including the people who believed in the Norse God's, the vikings!🤗🤗

While I was reading the tales of the old, I grinned, I laughed, and I was wondering where the new stores start. (Me being excited and impatient)😂

There are things I have forgotten that I was remoinded of and laughed again. Even though I am from Norway, I am not an expert on everything Norse Mythology. Even though I feel that it is a part of my heritage.

I can't help but admire Loki's quick thinking. Too bad he chose the dark side... or did he?
That remains to be seen in the modern short stories about Loki.

And by the All-Father do I love the outside of the book as well. Just look at this! I was juming up and down when I unwrapped it!
Integrated bookmarks, awesome cover, and sprayed edges are all such nice bonuses when the content is enjoyable as well.
Do you think they captured Loki well?

This is, Mjølner down, a 5⭐️ experience for me. Was every single sentence perfection? Perhaps not. It is pretty close, though. 😊

Okay… first things first: this book is absolutely stunning!

The cover, the design, the whole Flame Tree Myths, Gods and Immortals series is pure shelf candy and I’m obsessed.

But Loki isn’t just a pretty face... it’s as chaotic, clever, and multi faceted as the trickster god himself.

I loved how this collection blends the old with the new: ancient Norse tales reimagined and reinterpreted alongside fresh stories from open submissions around the world. It really captures all sides of Loki! Shapeshifter, mischief maker, ally, enemy, father of monsters, sibling of Thor, and the kind of character you love and loathe all at once.

Every story felt like peeling back another layer of this timeless trickster, and I came away with a whole new appreciation for why Loki has fascinated people (including me) for centuries...from sagas to Marvel movies.

Besties, if you’re a mythology nerd (like me 🙋‍♀️), this one is an absolute must. Beautifully put together, rich in imagination, and a true celebration of chaos incarnate.
