Lie to me, I'm FIne: The Many Adventures of a Single Dad

Rate this book
I grew up in the triad of North Carolina. The weather is insane here. Literally. But I am not here to talk to you about the weather. I was never much a small talk kind of person anyway. I am definitely about the big talk, the what if’s and what could be, those deep conversations. Like the topics your grandma always said not to talk about, like religion, politics and everything in between. If this is the first book you picked up in the ‘Many Adventures of a Single Dad’ series, I am excited to see you come along for the journey even if it is five books later, maybe this one will turn you on to the others.

This book feels like sitting down with a friend who skips the small talk and dives straight into the conversations that matter. It’s honest, unfiltered, and full of wit, weaving everyday experiences with the bigger questions of life in a way that makes you think, laugh, and sometimes ache a little.
It’s real, it’s grounded, and it draws you in from the first page.
A refreshing mix of humor, heart, and perspective, this book reminds you why stories matter and why you’ll want to keep reading the series.

Heartwarming. I devoured this collection of stories in a single night. Such a cute and emotional trip these books took me on. The struggles of not only being apparent, but a single one and trying to find out who you are, what you want to do, and who you want to be…these stories hit home for me like I am sure they will do for so many others. The only thing I suggest is a professional editor to iron out the minor errors or this would be a five star.
