Yes, please! I love it when justice is served hot! This book really could have been a finale one, but I’m so glad it’s not.
Callaghan sure knows how to make everything family-oriented, including her writing style. Carlita was given a very sweet surprise by her wonderful husband, Pete. Pete is such a nice man whom I admit I’ve got a crush on. ♥️
I love how the Garlucci families have small children that are also included in activities rather than being mentioned once or twice but then fall to the wayside.
I also love that nothing too terrible occurred, but there was just enough mystery to keep me wondering what happens next.
There will be another book that will probably have the Garlucci’s and gang going to Jersey to visit Vinnie and fam. Or, it’ll be the gang going on a cruise together. Whatever and wherever it takes us, it’ll be a grand adventure that will have you wanting to call your closest friends and family over for dinner.
Next choice in read for me is “Steamed Secrets” by Tonya Kappes from her series Killer Coffee Mysteries, Book 16.

Another Great Savannah Mystery
Hope Callaghan's new Bungled Burglaries is excellent, just like all her books in every series. As one of my favorite authors, I have read everything she has written to date. Her Savannah Mystery Series has so many facets, this twenty fifth book just shows how much more there is to write about the Garlucci family.
In Bungled Burglaries, Carlita with her daughter Mercedes put together a fundraiser for her friends who own a neighborhood business. The friends, Steve and Paisley own a tattoo shop called Shades of Ink and have received a foreclosure notice. Not wanting the news to get out and doing what they could to save the business, Carlita finds out about their troubles and does what she is best at, helping friends in need.
Thus, the fundraiser. Between her and Pete's restaurants for the food, Cool Bones Jazz band for the music and all the many items that were donated for the auction, Carlita was sure they would be able to help Steve out of their money problems. The fundraiser was a huge hit, more people showed up to show their support for Steve and Paisley than they ever thought possible, but was it enough to save their livelihood? Unfortunately, while the fundraiser went on, many businesses in close proximity were burglarized, including Carlita's pawnshop. Now begins the hunt for the duo caught on camera & whoever was behind the break-ins and what were they after??
Elvira is off to her big gold mining trip to Alaska leaving Dernise in charge-what could go wrong?
The report is back from the archeology dig under Pete's restaurant did they find the treasure? So many questions and such exciting answers all wrapped up in Bungled Burglaries! Another must read of Hope Callaghan!!

What a great fast paced story featuring our favorite Garlucci family members in another mystery sure to keep you guessing.
Steve, the tattoo artist and Garlucci family friend, is in danger of losing his tattoo studio due to late mortgage payments. Mercedes and her mom, Carlita decide to organize a fundraiser involving raffles with all the Walton Square businesses which will be open to the public as well. The fundraiser is a huge success, but 3 local businesses were burglarized during the event including Carlita's Pawn Shop and Elvira's security services office. Carlita will not rest until this crime is solved.
There are so many twists and turns in this book; some funny, some concerning, many entertaining. Hope Callaghan writes in a way that makes you feel like a member of her inner circle and a witness to the events as they take place. Her books leave you wanting more every time. They are non graphic, exciting and pull you in with the first chapter. Enjoy this latest adventure of the Garlucci family!

Neighbors helping neighbors
Carlita and the gang on Walton Square in Savannah have joined together to help one of their own with a fundraiser. The fundraiser is in full swing and seems to be a huge success, but, someone has taken advantage of everyone being at the party and businesses being empty and broken into several of the Walton Square buildings. This is quite upsetting to Carlita and Pete, and they find that Cobb's Security Company has also been hit. Elvira the owner of Cobb Security is on vacation prospecting for gold in Alaska and her sister Service steps up to help solve the case much to the dismay of Elvira who holds tight reins on her company. The saying it takes a village is so true in this case as all the neighbors and friends work together and nail the culprit. Throw in family gathering to surprise the Garlucci/Taylor matriarc, stinky baby burps, and lots of delicious food and you got a winner all around!! Can't wait for the next book! Thank you Hope Callaghan for wonderful stories!

Bungled Burglaries is a page turning stand-alone mystery! In this delightful cozy mystery the community comes together to help one of their own and Pirate Pete surprises his wife Carlita. This avid reader enjoys Hope Callaghan's writing style. She includes enough past information to remind the reader of previous stories and characters. The story flows with likable characters, twist and turn plot and a believable conclusion. Both likeable and frustrating characters are included for your reading pleasure. Recipe for Smokey Pasta Burrata is include.
As a retired couple, I agree with Pirate Pete: It is time for us to venture out more. A toast to more adventures and less stress. Living in a resort town one often forgets to explore and enjoy one’s surroundings. Wish I still had Carlita’s energy.

Fundraisers and burglaries!
Carlita Garlucci and others on Walton Square plan a fundraising party to help out Steve and Paisley who own Shades of Ink tattoo parlor. They draw a great and generous crowd and manage to collect seventeen thousand dollars, enough to pay off the owed mortgage payments due, with some left over for an emergency fund. But two burglars took advantage, and during the party broke into three of the Walton Street businesses, the Pawn Shop, Elvira’s Investigation business and the grocery store. Although not much was taken, only some groceries, Carlita is determined to figure out who was responsible. This is a great series and I’ve read and enjoyed all of them! I received a free copy of this book and write this review entirely voluntarily.

This is such an enjoyable and fun series. Family, friends, good times and always a mystery for Carlita to sink her teeth into. I have been following this series since book one and they never disappoint. Laugh out loud moments with Elvira who is traveling but still manages to let her presence be known from so far away, a surprise visit or two and always something interesting on every page. Highly recommend this series or any other by this very talented author. Always a clean read, never boring, excellent storytelling that leaves you feeling like you just had a warm hug.

Another smash hit
The characters in the story are the wacky family and friends you wish you had. The Garlucci Family all together and what happens; a burglary. With all the family fun, there's still the to solve the crime

This series is always great
Ms Callaghan is quite the good writer. She has several different series, all good. This one is one the best. I really enjoy the varied characters and how they get into trouble, or not, and hunt down the culprits. In all, a super reading pleasure, and hard to put down.

This series is so good, You don't want to the the book down!! Even when you finish a book you want to keep on reading them!!

While I have enjoyed all the books in the series, this one truly hit the spot! Very family oriented with somewhat believable "bad guys" and no guns or mobster violence this time.
Elvira is in Alaska looking for gold, with plans to visit Sharkey, so I suspect another cross-over book will be coming. I just hope Siren of the Seas' can handle Elvira and Sharkey together!

Fun read
I love these books. It was great that no one died in this book. I so want to go to Savannah and see all the things that they talk about in the books. The only problem would be no Carlita, Pete, Tony, Elvira, etc. I want to meet them all!!! It would be such fun to get all the fans of these books together and do a bus tour of Savannah. Get them coming.

No good deed....
The whole crew comes together to help one of their own. Unfortunately, not everything goes as smoothly as hoped, and some unsavory goings on take place.
With everyone pitching in to find the culprits, it doesn't take long for justice to prevail. A few surprises along the way add to the story as well as some interesting Savannah eateries.

Don't Do Coverup Of A Crime
I liked the story line & I'm glad that it shows that when young folks do wrong, they have a price to pay too. Parents don't cover up the wrongs of your children, especially in this day & age, it's better that you make sure they pay & learn when they commit a crime instead of eventually possibly paying with their life later on.

Bungled Burglaries
I like the fact that Elvira was out of town. She gave Dernice the info she needed to bring about the Sterling's dealing with insider theft. Brittany for the for thought to let her use the compact. Autumn for breaking the Sterling's arrest.

I felt this was not only a great mystery, but also a great way to show a man's love for his wife and
I love Pete's surprises for Carlita, and the mystery for Carlita to unravel with help from her friends and family.

Great book!
I watch for any new book by Hope Callaghan. It doesn't matter which series. This book keeps my attention and is funny as well as heartwarming. Her description of each character gives you a mental picture. Great read.

I love this series and have read every one of them. It's kind of like visiting old friends. I look forward to the next book and adventure. I have also read all the books in her other series and I am never disappointed. K love all her booms.

Per usual, HOPE CALLAGHAN created another very good storyline for Bungled Burglaries. The Made in Savannah series keeps us involved and waiting to see how it ends. I love all the characters!

Every time I pick up the next book in this series it amazes me. How these family & friends come together to solve an intriguing crime makes it a must read. I read it in one afternoon as I couldn't put it down. Loved it!
