Darkness falls. The Black Prince rises.

I have avenged the betrayal which nearly destroyed me, but the battle for the heart and soul of my empire has only just begun. The Godsworn cultists are on the cusp of victory as their thousand-year plot to defeat the dragon sovereigns comes to fruition. My only hope of defeating them is to reunite my harem, recapture my throne, and unravel the dark secret behind the Old Gods before they escape their prison and unleash their madness upon the world.

Godsworn is the third and final book in The Dragon Sovereign trilogy, Sarah Hawke's fantasy harem epic.

Sarah Hawke is a prolific writer of science fiction and fantasy in multiple genres, including erotica, harem, and bondage. Her books are known for their intricate world-building, twisting plots, and fleshed-out characters—and of course their many intense, steamy sex scenes.

If you are interested in "pure" traditional harem stories, The Lost Fleet is the perfect place to start! Wings of the Seraph is a shorter, older series but also hits most of the traditional harem notes. Shadow of the Seraph features a rotating male and female pov with some F-F scenes involving temporary futanari, so avoid that unless it is your jam!

Her fantasy universe features many types of erotica stories involving bondage (Elf Slave, all the Spider Queen books) and non-traditional harems (The Amazon's Pledge, The Amazon's Vengeance). She also has two ongoing fantasy erotica series with intense action and multiple points of view, War of the White Throne and The Blade of Highwind.

This is Fire!

The first two books all led up to this, and I wasn’t disappointed. The stakes could not have been higher, and there were mind-blowing revelations that cast everything about this conflict into new light.

Religious fanaticism, rewritten history, and vengeful gods. Devastated cities, an empire teetering on the brink, and a world about to be swallowed by demons. All written in flowing, skilled, descriptive prose, building to a climax that had me riveted.

Alamir was a fantastic protagonist, but his girls were no slouches. I was invested in all of them. And the steam was melt-your-face-off hot.

Looking at this book in isolation (as my memories of first two are hazy), it was pretty entertaining. We don’t really get an origin story so I did wonder what the criteria to be considered a god in this world is. It was also debatable who was actually the wronged party in this story until around 80%, when author decided to finally clarify. Anyway, a few things were left unexplored (the Pale, demons, etc.), so there is potential for future volumes (pending interest, I guess), but otherwise it could be a definite ending as well.

Great conclusion

We could have a had a little more to tie everything up nicely, but I'm satisfied. This was a great series all the way through, and I'm happy and sad to see it end.
