Max tensed…
“I love that you’re needy.”
Max and his friends are taking a mini-vacation together, renting a cabin on a ski hill.
Max is 5’11” and muscular.
Ryder is among the friend group. He is gay, and he is hot.
Both guys are in college; Ryder is one year older.
Talk of women, specifically Ashley, is really not helpful. Ryder has a certain reputation with Ashley’s ex-boyfriends.
Gay Denial is prevalent, though a decent amount of it is half-hearted.
Max’s inner monologue is funny.
The hot tub in the snow… ❄️
The exchange. 😊
Author begins dropping hints, appropriately, that Max is not straight. At all.
Max’s moments of acceptance, then denial, then back and forth…yes. Accurate. 👍🏻
Physiology improves as the action escalates—though the V stuff is…is awfully optimistic.
But also kinda beautiful. Their concurrent dialogue is…interesting. Both sweet and sexy.
Acceptance 🙌🏻 👏🏻 🙌🏻
Their lovemaking is passionate, but for scenes this long—we really could use more descriptive detail.
Ryder sees how needy Max is—and he loves it.
Max is eager to please. And he’s quite reciprocal.
Max has quite the coming out.
Love the Acceptance and Discovery elements. Does Gay Awakening differently, but well.

Max is away with his friends group, including his ex and her new lover. To get on her nerves he has invited another ex of his ex to join on this going away, Ryder.
When they stay at the house while the others go away to ski and getting snowed in (or out in this case) Ryder is taking care of Max his need in a very steamy and spicy way.

Absolutely loved this!
Between the denial and thinking it’s your fault because the ex said it was just makes this whole book so much better! It’s a true Awakening! It gave some D/S vibes but in a sweet caring way. The end was hilarious. I was laughing! I would totally read a sequel to this book! Love your writing @Pat Lewis

One guy has the power to make every single ex get with him, but only one goes from straight to not-so-straight. This was one of the longer books, more drawn out. It was a hot book. I really hated Ashley, but that's not a shock to me anymore. I will say this is another third person perspective story, but I don't think this would work as a first person book.
