Perfect spicy, quick read for the holiday season. Add in a touch of history for the plot and its perfection!!

Chloe’s journalism career has landed her on the doorstep of Rune. A direct ancestor of the last known Viking and a mammoth of a man himself. His hard exterior is one that is easily cracked by Chloe’s kind and intelligent heart. And the 4 words she utters that seal her fate and tie her to him forever.

I loved the way Rune loves Chloe - loudly, intensely, honestly. He was drawn to her the moment he saw her and doesn’t hate to take everything he wants. Her.

Chloe is sweet, a little damaged, and so strong. She’s the perfect partner for a man like Rune. What started as an assignment for her turned into a life altering meeting filled with everything she ever wanted in life - love, family, and a home.

KL Donn never disappoints!! And this sweet read, particularly the epilogue, is a perfect addition to my collection.

Argumento:

Mi humilde opinión:

Un lugar de ensueño nevado con vistas increíbles a la aurora boreal, un oso polar amigable y un adorable pingüino, un irresistible vikingo disfrazado de Santa y una mujer dispuesta a tener a sus bebés…

Disfruté esta historia corta navideña OTT, era un romance instantáneo con sus momentos eróticos pero también me gustó que tuviera historia vikinga, amor de familia y por supuesto apruebo las vibras navideñas. Tenia algunos epílogos a futuros con todos los deseos de Rune y Chloe cumplidos.

Erotic romance Xmas novella.

This is a short holiday read, no plot of any consequence, smut only.
Set in Greenland (why does everyone have English names?) There is a bit of ridiculousness with a domesticated penguin and sort of polar bear (although that one ~might~ fly). Insta-love, he’s a descendent of a known viking (so he’s got a beard and is big and chops wood lol). Plays up to the Viking/conquerer/primal aspect and size difference between H and h.

In terms of the sex, includes: breeding kink with pregnancy, biting, hickeys, eating her out, light nipple play, some filthy kissing, light choking, creampie, some primal play, somnopholia (he fucks her awake). In one scene he spreads her arousal on her nipples, tries to swallow her whole boob (which apparently is a thing for me?)

Oh my sweet melted chocolate with a huge dose of spice!!!! The Christmas and KL Donn kind, of course!
I knew as soon as I opened this book that I would have trouble putting it down and I did! Maybe that’s why I was up with chest pains at 3.30 this morning?!
Anywho! Chloe (who, if you have read Last Chance love, you have met very briefly), she is on assignment but when she meets Rune, he becomes so much more than that!!
This was such a beautiful read of history, discovery, acceptance and pure love. Like the absolute purest with a whole lot of snow and heat thrown in! Add a couple of ‘pets’ #iykyk. My heart is full!

What a page turner! Bring on the heat! Chloe and Rune right from the beginning are fire! Meeting while on an assignment they are forced into his house by none other than a Polar Bear. You will also see a penguin later on in the book. Chloe flat out tells this Viking something very interesting. Wait til you see how he responds. It just gets better from there. He wants her to be his elf while he is Santa for the kids. Well, let’s just say, they know how to heat things up afterwards. Their chemistry is off the charts and they get along so well. Will this assignment lead to more? Wait til you find out how the story ends. It was definitely worth reading this book!

Rune and Chloe's story was so hot I'm surprised the snow didn't melt! Rune's family is descended from Erik the Red, according to the stories. That is what brings Chloe to the snowy wonderland, to interview the Viking. While he is not crazy about why the stunning woman is standing in his yard, he is determined to keep her. Her sweet demeanor and loving nature steal his heart and all he wants for Christmas is to win her heart. This story gave me all the holiday feels with possibly the sexiest Santa ever. I consumed this one in one sitting and came close to starting it all over again, just divine!

This is a hot & fast insta love story between Chloe & Rune. Chloe is a travelling journalist who is looking for stability she meets Rune and they instantly fall in love we catch up with previous characters Ema & Sebastian from last chance love. Rune is a direct descendant from a Viking & he loves Chloe how I imagined Vikings loved their women. I loved the scene with the polar bear & penguin. This is the perfect Christmas read.

These two just mesh so well together! The chemistry, the heat, the passion, the possessiveness everything I love and book. So very well written, it's got an excellent story and fabulous characters. All the characters are amazing even bear and waddles!

There were some issues with this one such as a penguin that lives in Greenland (penguins live in the southern hemisphere) and some major instalove. There was also more spice than plot, but if you just want a wintry good time with a Viking descendant this is a fun read. I went into it not expecting much and enjoyed Rune and Chloe’s story. There is plenty of spice but the heartwarming moments with family took me by surprise. I will certainly be reading Ema’s story in the future.

Chloe Ruin is in Greenland to find and interview Viking, Erik the Red’s, ancestor for an article. She first stumbles upon Rune and then gets chased by a polar bear. This story is adorable, sweet and sexy. Rune resigned himself to never finding love, but one look at Chloe and his whole world changes. Such a great book!

This is a perfect holiday read featuring a Viking Santa and a helper elf (not in the literal sense but ya know). Anywho this was such an amazing story. Rune and Chloe surprised me with their tale. All kinds of spice with great banter between them for sure. An entertaining page turner. I thoroughly enjoyed this and I loved reading about their journey to their HEA. I recommend reading you won't be disappointed.
