Ain’t nothing wrong with a good kidnapping in the name of love.

"Who would’ve thought a snowman kidnapping the woman he fell in love with at first sight, would melt her cold heart."
One of the best books in the series, the chemistry was off the charts and I loved every minute of it. December was so intense, but he knew what he wanted and went after it, and Raine had to figure out how to make it all work.
The kidnapping trope worked so well for this story, I can't blame Mr Angel for going through with it, he had his reasons okay? Okay.
Even though the book ended on a happy note, there were some sad moments throughout. But overall it was such a fun and slightly unhinged read, I love the stories M Monique's brain comes up with.

I may need to seek help because I love a good kidnapping turned love story❣️ And this one was done right.
December was determined to give his mother her last wish, and in doing so he didn't realize how much it would give him in return. He was instantly in love with Raine and set out to make her his, even if it was against her will at first. Since Raine was near December and he was applying all the pressure she was unable to deny their connection. I loved how December didn't care about anyone else's opinions and instead went all the way in for them.
There was death, family drama, secrets, jealousy, and enough plot to keep you entertained.
I also wouldn't call it a Christmas story but there were a few sweet moments.

Did all the parents/parental figures really have a terminal illness. I think if you told me this was a fated mates dynamic that made December do a full 180 to the point of kidnapping Raine I would not question the timeline but I am 🤭 It was fine but some things didn't make sense.

I truly enjoyed this story author Monique couldn’t do no wrong. Yes it was fast paced but it was a good fast paced were everything fell in to place articulated very well and made you want more to read about December and Raine’s life and dynamic especially their heavy chemistry and romance. Their love story was unconventional but unique and swoon worthy. A great holiday read !! Plus I truly loved December and Raine’s personalities ‼️

3.5 - My first kidnapped trope and i want more. This was a fun read with some drama and tough family topics. December having to deal with his mom and get being sick, i get it. She had me thinking she was so nice in that doctor’s office. Honey that mom was a fool just like December lol. Raine had my heart going out to her. Glad she had love but to find out things in such a way was hurtful. One thing for such my girl wasn’t no chump. She was about that.
Even though December was a fool he was really sweet. For sure gave off “touch her, you die” vibes. He went after what he wanted and stood on business. After the foolishness fog lifted it was nice to watch their relationship bloom. Even the bond between Raine and December’s mother was beautiful. With everything going on we get a HEA.

Wooo, this is my first book my M. Monique, and let me just say .. I AM A FAN!
This story ate down from the beginning to the end. Who knew that a man kidnapping a woman could me feel so many emotions due the goodness of the plot.
December Angel may be menace, but I love a man that doesn’t stop until he gets what he wants. 😂😛
Raine … I love her. She’s tough on the outside but that’s only because she’s been through sooo much. I truly felt for my girl. As much as I hate to say it … I’m glad she finally opened up and let December Angel love her. 🥺 She deserved that man.

I was def not expecting the kidnapping like yea it’s in the name but I wasn’t expecting it to happen Like it did. I’ll glad Raine got everything she deserved. She deserved and craved real love and I’ll glad December could give her that.
This story was cute and the family and dysfunctional family aspect really drove everything home for me. Christmas is about family and I’m glad we got to see that in this story. I’m also glad she got all the closure she needed to heal.

One thing M.Monique gonna do is write a top tier book boyfriend. Who cares about a little light kidnapping. December Angel was perfection. I knew I would love him from the first time he kissed Raine outside the funeral home. He stood on business about her from day one. I loved the pacing. Raine wasn’t sold at first but her transition didn’t lag or jump too quickly. She also openly discussed her concerns with her man vs believing the other woman. Yauna still needed a beat down in my opinion 🙄. Had some sad moments but overall loved it. Definitely recommend.

M Monique don’t miss! I expected this book to be straight shenanigans. Nope, this lady had me shedding tears. Were there unhinged moments? Of course! The man kidnapped her. Does it make me unhinged because I understood why he kidnapped her? Possibly! Either way, I just loved their love, and the plot of it all was a page turner. Y’all go read this book!

This was a good read. December literally manifested and spoke their relationship into existence. And used any means necessary to get there. I enjoyed the banter between him and Raine, also her blossoming relationships with his friends and family.

Midnight Raine
This was a great read. Raine had gone through so much is such a short time. Her character is truly resilient. December is certainly a stand up guy and one who is willing to do anything for the people he loves. The way he was ready to risk it all to make his mother' s dreams come true was so amazing. These characters are definitely people I would to see again this was perfectly written and I love December and Raine down. I love that she is a spitfire because her personality compliments December's. I was very intrigued.

This book instantly started off interesting and kept my attention the whole time. I do wish this was at least a 2 part series so we could've gotten more details on some of the events that take place in the book( I don't want to give away any spoilers). I’ve read everything you’ve written (oftentimes over and over again 😝) and you continue to outdo yourself with each story. December knew EXACTLY who he wanted and did whatever was necessary to make sure that he and Raine lived happily ever after. As someone that completely disregarded the cover and downloaded it because I thought it was about an actual snowman, not a Jeezy type snowman...this book was such a treat.
It tackles grief head on in a way that is surprising for a book so short. It also beautifully weaves in a story of familial love and forgiveness.
Bonus points because the MMC is a complete lunatic and kidnaps the FMC.

If you’re looking for a Christmas story packed with heart, heat, and a sprinkle of hood drama, Kidnapped by the Snowman by M. Monique is the perfect pick! This was my first book by this author, and I was so impressed. I love a kidnapping trope, but when you tie that in with a BDE male main character who’s a ruthless kingpin yet has a soft spot for the FMC? That’s the kind of story that captures my heart every time.
The story follows December, a kingpin caring for his terminally ill mother, and Rain, a woman reeling from a devastating loss last Christmas. Their paths cross by chance, and together, they make a pact to give December’s mom the best last Christmas imaginable. To make it work, they pretend to date—but as the holiday spirit takes hold and sparks fly, their fake relationship turns into something real.
Rain’s grief and guarded nature perfectly balance December’s strength and determination, creating a dynamic and heartfelt connection between the two. December’s willingness to be vulnerable around Rain, especially as he juggles his role as a kingpin and his love for his mother, made him such a captivating character. Meanwhile, Rain’s resilience and ability to open her heart again added so much depth.
This story had everything—holiday vibes, raw emotion, and a romance that had me hooked from start to finish. With its gritty hood backdrop and tender moments of love and healing, this was the perfect mix of spice and heart.

"I’m tryna wife his daughter.” is the 🥵 phrase coming from an MMC around 14% who has only seen the FMC once 😂. That's when I knew I hit Jackpot. This man was mad crazy but if you love ladynapping stories and the fake dating trope, this is right up your alley. The characters are great. The romance took center stage as we watched December go head first in love and melt down all of Raine's walls. Wallowing in depression Raine wasn't truly living after her adoptive parents died, but then she went to her bio father's funeral and everything kicked up. December's crazy tale was smitten at first blush. 14%, he was like lady, nah, that's my wife. 😂 She didn't even know his name, and he was already claiming she was going to have his. This dude said baby I lost 8 hours of sleep over you, so you need to make it up to me." Huh, my guy, she doesn't know you! But Raine needed someone who would come correct and love her. All of her. He decided since she refused to give him a chance that ladynapping was the next way to date and woo her, duh. 🤣 This was a solid story and effort. After his mother was handed a terminal diagnosis, she only had one wish for her baby boy and that was to find love and make her a grandmother before it was too late! She wanted him to experience the love of a partner and have a true rider by his side.
December being who he was, it would’ve been a cake walk to find anyone to help him deliver his mother’s last dying wish but he didn’t want just anyone, he wanted Raine Nicholas and was willing to do ANYTHING to get her!
After crossing paths with December, Raine knew he was nothing to play with and she wanted to be as far away from him as possible. But when it’s right not even a kidnapping that results in being locked in a room until you have a change of heart can keep you from falling in love 😩😩
I love when we have a confident MFC that knows her worth and a cocky MMC that is THAT nigga, falls first and puts diamond pressure behind claiming his woman! This story gave me all the feels and left my heart smiling! ❤️🎄🎁🎅🏿🤶🏾🥰
