Latcher

by M.H. Law

It starts with a nightmare, and you won't know what comes next.

In 1990s Montreal, Vanessa Cutler's friends discover a mysterious video tape titled Latcher and decide to host a movie night. Terrifying things begin to happen after seeing the movie and no one is sure what is real or merely imagination.

Latcher is a rollercoaster of nostalgia, a slow-burn romance, as well as a tale of friendship and demonic mayhem. Read it before you go to sleep, if you dare.

Such a great debut novel by M.H. Law. A must-read if you enjoy supernatural stories and '90s nostalgia.

I enjoyed the 90's nostalgia, just seeing the words Oxy Pads had me back to my 90s house watching my mom do make-up. I forgot they even existed until I read this book! I also loved the relationship between Vanessa and Evie, the quiet confusion leading into something more passionate. Evie was definitely my favourite character for her complexity. And an interesting take on vampires...
