I like Sci-fi tales because anything goes, and it's not weird. The world that Jennifer has created is full of modern technology, along with AIs that are more than they seem.
The story is told in multiple POV, which makes the story more immersive. There is action, a variety of aliens; some are truly evil, and others are just big, deadly teddy bears.
EvO is the sixteenth book in the Daverius, House of DAR series, and EvO and Qwin's story
What a great and original read! It is heartbreaking, sad, loving, and heart-warming, with some fun moments.

Proof reader needed
While I absolutely love this series, I just kept getting hung up on the odd placement of commas, periods and the missing quotation marks. It was a bit jarring at times. While it took me out of the story like a skipping CD, it overall didn't ruin it for me either. EvO and Qwin were a great pair, and this whole story arc is quite intriguing. I will be eagerly awaiting the next installment.

Can't resist the series, but...Get a proof reader!
I enjoy these stories. Every time a new one comes out, I can't resist finding out what new family members will be introduced. And every time I tell myself not to bother because every single one is in desperate need of proof reading and editing. Colloquial language is certainly at the author's discretion. But punctuation - too much, too little, in the wrong places - I almost quit reading numerous times. Then there are questionable word choices, the kind that happen when the writer has heard a phrase but never seen it in writing. The resulting malapropisms are jarring.
I have made these comments before, but I guess the author either doesn't read reviews or is too stubborn to take advice. This book was also plagued by duplicate texts, as if copy and paste went wild.

A beautiful mate for EvO
This is book sixteen in the DaR series. I am reading the entire series and I adore the DaR universe and family. This book starts with EvO, LeX, ViN, Ember, and ReX on the Destroyer battle ship trying to find more human pods to rescue. The team has been caught in a nebula and it is getting dicey. I am going to leave it there in order not to reveal too much information about this story. It’s beautiful, entertaining, funny and ends in a happy for now place. Read On!

Another one of DaR’s sons is highlighted in this book, well a few of them are as they are all on the Destroyer searching the Nebula for more pods of the humans being rescued from Earths destruction. These books continue to surprise me as now men are also being rescued from the pods. And the surprising turn of events that happened in the last few chapters left me speechless but also excited to see what happens next!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Purple Love
Purple has always been my favorite color. Now it is my favorite alien color too! Well at least one of my favorites. This series holds a soft spot in my heart. Yes, this book is my favorite so far …well it’s another favorite. I can not wait to see more of these two. They have been such a fun couple that make you want more. Enjoy

House of DaR
I must say that I loved every one of the House of DaR series. I am sad that there currently is no more but am hopeful for more of the DaR family. I liked that there are some very intimate sex scenes but not so much as to make it uncomfortable. Thank you Ms Miller for your wonderful writing and I will be reading more of your books very soon.

Wonderful read
I have really been waiting for this one and it did not disappoint.
Strong women and instant knowing from her mate mixed with all the down sides of humanity makes for a good roller coaster ride to the end.

great addition
EvO was a great read. Glad there were more survivors. The things the crew Rafe and LeX are going through if unbelievable but welcome thank you for another great book in the DaR series

The stories keep getting better !
I love this story there is no boring pages. Great suspense that keeps you on your seat .
The only bad thing is no ending of LeX and his girl or the other first officer and the women he was helping. Too much left in the air .

So glad EvO finds happiness
Tragic what happened to Earth and fantastic that EvO finally finds pods after many cycles. Love that DaR and Kira make an appearance and ViN and his society gal are getting along on board the battleship.

Good read (per usual)
Love all of the DaR books. Evo is one of DaR's sons and Captain of the Destroyer. Qwin was an earth survivor in a cryotube that was going bad. What a wild ride! Enjoy

enjoying the series
I like the characters and the storyline. It was frustrating though, with the constant periods in the sentences making the sentences incomplete or broken up throughout the book.

Yeah they are back
So glad to see another DaR story. This Quinn and Evo’s story, but also about what happened to the rest of the humans launched from a dying earth.
I do HOPE this is a reboot, so we can see more of this world.

I love the EVO. He had made up his mind that he would never find the love he found with Qwin. Qwin was thrown into a world she suspected existed but had no idea that she could have her entire dreams come true...Plus Evo is her favorite color!!!!

So far this one has been my favorite. Plenty of humor, which is always nice. I have loved this whole series and this one really touched me :-)

Jennifer has done it again—another tale, masterfully told. This is my all-time favourite series, and the writing throughout has been exceptional. Romance at its finest.
