Rate this book
Morrison is a renowned hacker in Echo City, earning massive creds with his ability to achieve seemingly inaccessible feats. On Christmas Eve, he’s given biz that could change his life – a high-risk assignment with a client who has both the influence and the importance. However, as Morrison delves into the information, he discovers something much more sinister than just funds into his account.

What begins as everyday biz plunges into a living nightmare. The farther he dives, the more apparent it becomes that he’s confronting more than just corporate secrets—he’s caught in a complicated design of corruption, deceit, and an unveiling that might upend everything he knows. Each line of code cracked intensifies the risk for Morrison, who must decide whether to sacrifice his life and status in Echo City’s treacherous underbelly to expose a secret.

Morrison’s survival in a world where data can be deadly depends on more than just his knowhow; he must outmaneuver the digital phantoms prowling in the net.

A brutal, action packed and all around fun short story following hacker Morrison in a job gone wrong.

Set on Christmas Eve, Morrison takes on a job by an influential client, only to find himself neck deep in corporate secrets that could threaten all of Echo City.

This is a fast paced, action packed mission with devastating stakes and plenty of Christmas puns. Morrison himself is a foul mouthed hacker who turned out to have more depth than anticipated, which created a satisfying yet poignant ending.

If you’re looking for a Cyberpunk holiday read with eerie scenes and plenty of holiday vibes in a depressing world, this is worth the read.

A fun cyberpunk romp of a story to save Christmas🎄

If you're a fan of the Cyberpunk 2077 game, you'll have a fun time with this short story.

In 18 pages you'll find AI, VR, corporate greed, fast paced action, and good ole Christmas vibes.

A lot of terminology is borrowed from the CP77 franchise which is not a bad thing. It made this story feel like a side mission you would play inside the game during this holiday season.

Check it out and I bet you'll find yourself finishing it within 20 minutes 🦾

A short but action-packed cyberpunk story perfect for the Christmas holidays! You get hacker fights in virtual landscapes, well-meaning AIs, themes of corporate greed and capitalism, and festive puns. The hero is tough and snarky, but has a good heart.

Before anyone complains or gives a bad rating for the wrong reasons though -- please note that this story uses British English, first person POV, swearing/profanity, and lots of semicolons.

Look, I'm not the biggest fan of the holiday season (🤭) but this was quick, action packed and full of Christmas vibes. I'm still yet to play Cyberpunk, but this made me kind of want to.

A super fun short story that reminded me of if the Grinch were told way in the future.

Crass, humorous and surprisingly big hearted. A great one to read around Christmas time!
