A fabulous series!

I jumped to get this book as soon as it was released, then waited as long as I could to read it. All because I love this series and wanted to make the latest installment last. The setting is fin, the characters are people I'd love to hang out with, and the plot had just enougj twists. These books are fast=paced, and well=written. Now I impatiently await the next book!

This is such a fun series. Irma Abercrombie is Miss Marple's opposite. The seventy something ex-MI6 operative jogs everyday, watches what she eats, and vows to keep the residents of her island safe even though there is an island police force. Her sidekick is Violet, a computer nerd who thinks calories in fine cuisine don't count and getting out of bed should be sufficient evercise for the day. Between them they get into a wide assortment of funny and/or dangerous situations while managing to catch the bad guys. The ladies also squeeze in some life lessons and a bit of romance along the way. The perfect break from more serious mystery fiction.

Great book

Irma always saves the day and Violet can be trusted to solve all the tech problems in Maia Ross’ excellent series. Highly recommended
