A good Superman book that has all the elements for a great story, but doesn't quite shine as much as it should when pieced together. The characters are well done, especially the titular hero and, almost surprisingly, Lex Luthor, who gets to show more than just the cunning and manipulative side. Built up of promising elements, the final product, whilst not reaching its full potential, is still worth a read.
