Much like the first book in this series a fun, easy, cringe but smutty read. The same characters as the first book. Follows their next vacation sexcapades.
A lot of fun. I think she’s going to do a seasonal book so she has done winter and summer. Autumn and spring to come I assume. I do enjoy the characters even though it’s basically just pure smut on the page. No idea how any of these characters walk after all the shit they get up to. 😂😂

The Perfect Escape was exactly that. With the world being on fire we need more stories of queer joy and I so appreciate that Clio Evans consistently delivers on that front. If you loved The Perfect Gift you’re going to be obsessed with Rosie, Ash, Hawk and Greg’s (fucking Greg) latest adventure. I don’t know how to explain this book without comparing it to a sexy Saw (without the horror). Come for the kink and stay for the heart. These four are perfect in every way and scorching hot. Don’t forget your sunscreen.

Again, 98% smut, 2% plot but I loved it and looking forward to the hinted at book 3 in this series.
My only complaint, if there is one, is that book 1 had too much of the sense of we-don't-know-what's-happening-here DANGER and this book has too much of here's-a-hint-they're-in-broad-terminology-a-quadrouple LESS DANGER, let's-get-to-the-end-for-the-reveal.

The Perfect Gift will always continue to live rent free in my head; simply because I didn't catch onto the roleplay aspect, until the end and left my jaw on the floor. With The Perfect Escape, it really was an exploration of their roleplay and their relationship dynamic. I cannot wait for what's in store for The Perfect Hunt!!

God damn was this is SPICY (definitely one handed reading material if ya know what I mean😏😏). Clio absolutely ate with this one, just as I ate up every second! 🔥

Clio continues to make these fun novellas where I am a little confused if these people know each other and then by the end the confusion is gone but the spice will stick with me for life. A spicy escape room? I would have never thought of this because it sounds part like Saw movie (I'm assuming I have never seen those movies) and then part fun escape room with spice and I loved every moment.

I love when a author hears your pleas! Ah! @ClioEvans! Here’s what’s funny – she was probably already writing this delightful novella. But, let’s go back – in December 2024 I read The Perfect Gift and absolutely fell in love with the twist that Greg, Rosie, Asher and Hawk had for us. I was *so* into it, and loved the spicy and the twist and the story, even though it was presented in a bite size package. In my review, I said that I wanted another novella set in a different time of year so that we could have more of a glimpse into this group… and guess what, here we are in June 2025 and I am once again gobbling up this group!
I mean, Greg took Rosie to the beach and they are caught in a spicy escape room. PEOPLE! I absolutely love that the “twist” is happening again, and reading it this time I think the set up is absolutely perfect. Listen, this isn’t for everyone and that’s fine. But this book just SLAPPED in the way I was hoping. The minute that @ClioEvans announced this was coming, I have been excited to sink into and enjoy these group dynamics, and this time, @ClioEvans took it to another level, which I didn’t think was possible. Inside that red room at the end…. Whew. I was sweating, in the best possible way.
I will always be ready to read more of this group because I love Greg, Rosie, Asher and Hawk! Ah! I can’t believe I get more in the fall! They are the gift that keeps on giving!

I fell in love with this little group with the Christmas novella and I was so excited to get to see them again. It’s another short, sweet and spicy read. This time instead of a cabin we are on a beach vacation and we get signed up for an escape room. But it’s a whole other ballgame. Rosie and Greg head to the escape room and realize they will also being playing with 2 strangers. Then Greg disappears again. This one was fun because of all the things that had to be done in order for them to move to the next room. I always love how Clio Evan’s writes relationships. The love that’s between the characters is always there and it’s honestly my favorite thing. This book was such a fun concept and I was blushing the entire time. I hope there is more from this group in the future. I love reading about their adventures and I can’t wait to see what little game they come up with next.

Yes, this book is mostly smut—and I mean that in the best possible way—but there’s still a solid plot and just enough character depth to make you fall completely in love with them.
I desperately hope there’s more to come in this series because I’m fully hooked and absolutely need more!

Kinky beach themed escape room!? Wow what a spicy banger this was! Rosie and Greg are on a beach vacation enjoying the sun and cocktails. Greg has this great idea to do an escape room and Rosie is not feeling it. With her hopes of margaritas on the beach and hot sex with her husband dashed she finds herself at the escape room. The two get separated then find themselves in precarious situations. Greg has been snatched and now Rosie must do whatever it takes to free her husband. Being stuck with two hot guys in the escape room is definitely not what Rosie had imagined for her vacation but maybe it’s exactly what her and Greg needed. What a wild and sexy time! This is perfect for those looking to read something short this summer that will get them steaming hot!

While we lost a little of the mystery with knowing what we're getting into this time, this story was still a fun, role-playing little ride! I think I just love love, and seeing the dynamic between these 4 is delicious and lovely. I liked the nods to the first book it had - Greg and I also really liked how the final chapter is a 'run down' of how it all worked for them.

This novella was just as silly fun as the first one. A bunch of idiots (affectionate) stuck in a room together and having a grand Ole time. I loved the dynamic switch (pun intended) with Hawk and loved seeing Ash be as cunning as he is kinky. It's sweet, VERY spicy and I devoured it in like two hours. Which is the same amount of time they were stuck in the escape room.... weird. Maybe I'll take my rating down a star cause I don't have any hot doctors or lumberjacks now.

I expected Clio to go all out in this book but the plot was twisting 🥵 Got to say that I could not but perfect escape down especially after Rosie, Greg, Hawk and Ashton all entered the room. Make sure to read that trigger warning because that escape room went up in flames with the amount of spicy it had in it👀🔥 Loved how Rosie was able to hold her own in the end and get her Dom side out for a few because damn🔥

I absolutely love the fact that Cleo Evans gave us a second book after meeting all these characters in the perfect gift. A little teeny weenie bit part of me hoped that we would’ve been introduced to a new set of couples in this book but it’s totally OK that we got the same characters from the previous book

I didn't realize these are the same characters from The Perfect Gift. Clio writes hot like no one else. As it is such a short novella, do not go into it thinking you should have a plot. There's none and it doesn't need it. Fabulous short read.

I liked this book. 3.5 stars for rating, 5 for spice. We get to see the same four people as in Book 1 but a different scene. Ash really is an evil genius. And the state they found Greg in when they got to the room he was in was hot.
