Armed for Prayer is a call to prayer for both the novice and more seasoned prayer warrior. It covers a variety of topics in understandable clear language for both the novice and seasoned prayer warriors. I like the large format which makes it easy to write answers to the discussion questions which can be done either individually or as a group study. The topics included transition from progressive levels of intimacy with God, knowing the Word, understanding your identity in Christ, and standing on Christ's authority to utilizing the armor of God, such as the helmet of faith and the Sword of the Spirit. The chapters covering deliverance and healing also offer prayer models and examples. A discussion and examples of prophetic words are included as well as the importance of worship, praise and thanksgiving. Anita Estes has left no stone unturned in exploring this important call to prayer.
