Dead Town
Sheriff’s Detective Mitch Loman never believed in ghosts, witches, magic, or the supernatural, but when his four-year-old son died in a tragic accident on Christmas Eve, all of that changed.

I was very surprised with how much I enjoyed this story. It was not what I expected which was a story about cemeteries and detectives keeping a graveyard from harm.
Mitch is totally lost, he keeps reliving the death of his son on Christmas Eve, he is divorced and about to lose his job at the PD. After visiting his son’s grave where every year he puts a new teddy bear, Dot, the administrative assistant of the Dasen’s Terrace Cemetery PD offers him a job.
Dead Town is what some call Dasen’ Terrace. Mitch meets up with the Coven who comes at the full moon and Violet, one of them, becomes part of his life. Violet offers him something to free his son but at a price. Mitch discovers more about himself, the supernatural and value of friendship.

I loved this story. The characters are very relatable and the story is written in such a way that you forget it's a book. I totally fell into this tale.
