In the aftermath of Voyager's encounter with the badly wounded member of Species 8472 and Seven of Nine's believed assault at the hands of weapons merchant Kovin, Captain Kathryn Janeway and the former borg drone begin to realize the true depth of their feelings toward one another. They're forced to face their fear and inexperience while deal with a melding crew, a disastrous away mission, and the Captain’s sense of duty and feelings of responsibility for stranding the crew in the Delta Quadrant...

This is a very large series, consisting of 50 stories broken down into five 'seasons'. It follows the trials and tribulations of the relationship between Janeway and Seven which begins somewhere near the end of the first year Seven came on the ship (season four on the show) and carries them all the way back to the Alpha Quadrant and to a new vessel.

This is a Star Trek Voyager fanfic series with 50 (!) installments plus other side books. I've read them all, some if not most multiple times. I believe this is the first fanfic stories I ever read. It was recommended by a good friend. So long ago, I remember printing them out! After that I read them on my Palm Pilot. Gads. I feel old.
I'll slowly read episodes Just Between my other long list of published novels. :-)

I've been watching Voyager reruns and felt something was missing. Forget Chakotay, Seven of Nine and Captain Janeway belonged together. Then I discovered Gina Dartt's JUST BETWEEN SERIES. I LOVE IT. I was pulled right in to the JUST BETWEEN universe. Dartt made it so believable. If only Gina Dartt was the writer for the series. I'm eager to finish up this series and start the next.

I have loved the JB series for SO long.
I always loved the Janeway character (and Kate Mulgrew), in fact she's the reason I watched ST:V in the first place. A kick-@$$ female captain of a spaceship? YES, please. The Just Between series made me love Anika/Seven too. As with most FanFic, I prefer these stories over the original television series. I watched every episode of the series, but GL Dartt made it so much more! Thank you Gina for one of may favorite reading journeys ever!

I'm just kinda shocked that this book cover features two stolen photos from Battlestar Galactica and Star Trek and that the person who "created" this monstrosity has herself linked in the book description, so you can go see all the other atrocious book covers with stolen photos from Xena: Warrior Princess. That's just wild.

I loved the entire series! It’s fun as Gina goes through the episodes how she experiments with different writing styles and even if it doesn’t quite work out style wise I still loved the story itself.
