Judith Marjorie Collins is an American folk and standards singer and songwriter, known for the stunning purity of her soprano; for her eclectic tastes in the material she records (which has included folk, showtunes, pop, and rock and roll); and for her social activism.
Poem collection by Judy Collins. These poems are more like a memoir of her life. Some are very personal. Some are not so much. Some are very political.
This book is definitely not for everyone. You have to enjoy reading poems and memoirs to enjoy this one. I would also recommend to share her political views but I don’t think that’s an issue since I don’t think anyone from opposite political views would pick up this book anyways. I’m not right person to deep analyze poems but I enjoy reading them and this one had the memoir aspect too that made some of the poems simply amazing.
