Steven Stack shares the story of his best friend, Jack. Steven was Jack's human, and Jack was one of those dogs that brought the family together, in his end and his beginning, and always in the middle. This was a very emotional story, for anyone who ever has had that special fur baby in their lives. A grandmother to several fur babies, and for the animals where I am their human, as not all of my animals have fur, I understand the connection, the family member that makes the family complete. Jack was all of that for Steven and his family, and I am very glad I got to read Jack's story. It's written well, and I like that Steven makes the story have a happy ending, or should I say happy beginning, because that was also the ending. The end in the beginning, and the beginning in the end. This was definitely an emotional rollercoaster. I read it more than once. I recommend that readers of all ages read this book. Sometimes adults should sit back and remember what it was like to be a kid, and whatever their child may be going through. Jack The Story of a Dog is a definite recommendation by Amy's Bookshelf Reviews. I read this book to give my unbiased and honest review. This is also a recommended Adult Read. Amy's Bookshelf Reviews recommends that anyone who reads this book, to also write a review.
