Quiet a lot (than expected) of the sections of this book are copy paste from internet. In fact the coverage and analysis is also not well dealt with. I am disappointed!

The author has briefly covered almost all the important countries in the present context as well as about our Foreign policy and its other aspect.
One thing which I particularly liked about this book was the division of chapters and connecting historical events with current happenings in bilateral relations between India and another country.
A must-read for someone who wants to know in-depth about India's relation with other countries.

For GS aspirants, go selectively.
For optionals, all of it would be useful.
Neverthless the geopoiltical history dealt with in this book was very nice.
