Ms.Forrest's... talents are taking readers on a voyage to the cutting edge of a new genre." --The Paperback Forum"

ELIZABETH FORREST SCORES BIG TIME WITH THIS FRIGHTENING THRILLER that showcases a government and a ministry operating outside the morals of humanity. BRIGHT SHADOW is a one-sitting read that easily rivals the best of King and Koontz. Ms. Forrest is one author whose star is on the rise and it should not surprise anyone if her latest book reaches the top of the bestseller lists with meteoric speed." --Painted Rock"

Elizabeth Forrest may not yet have the name recognition of Clive Barker or Stephen King, but her talent clearly rivals both of them. BRIGHT SHADOW is a frightening yet thrilling work... brilliant and ought to bring the awesome author a forest of new fans." --Affaire de Coeur

A deathly dry sub-Dean Koontz "supernatural thriller" terminally lacking in both imagination and thrills. There are enough good ideas in here to potentially produce an entertaining page-turner, but this sure isn't that.

I loved this story when I read it a decade ago. It was a thriller with just enough hints of the supernatural to keep things off kilter. The child being pursued by the unsavory powerful people is really put to the test and comes through despite all. Ms Forrest kept me glued to my seat with solid writing and didn't bog things down with endless narration. The prose was highly engaging.

This book is part of my prized collection and I highly recommend it if you can run across it. When it is available here on Amazon, I strongly urge you to pick up a copy. It rivals anything her contemporaries like Dean Koontz or John Saul were putting out at the time.
