The illustrations are really well done, and I love how the book rhymes on each page. The story is really cute. The young girl sets a great example in how she wishes so hard to care for the hurt bird. Her wish comes true and she is able to not only heal the bird, but make friends with him and many other creatures and unicorns. My 8-year-old daughter also read it and she thinks it’s a really cute book too. She loved the story and also the adorable illustrations.
