The Rachel Effect: An Unraveling Revelation of the Real You

Rate this book
Are you tired of never feeling good enough? Does everyone else have what you think you need?

From the “I never knew how much I struggled with comparison until I met Rachel and Leah in the book of Genesis. Wow! Am I like them? Is the need to compare myself to others making me feel like I’m never good enough?

God brought author Lauren McNeely through the lies, deceptions, and traps of perfectionism, and dropped her right in front of the truth.

The truth of what comparison really is.

The truth of how I sounded to Him in all these years of misguided prayers and longings to be like “her”—the ideal woman I could never quite become.

On her journey with God, He set Lauren straight, killed the cycle of becoming who she thought she should be, and taught her how to walk with Him in order to be who He created her to be. Join Lauren in the twists and turns of walking away from lies and faulty belief systems and into truth with joy, peace, and Jesus.

Comparison is a thief, and Lauren catches and exposes it in this book. Lauren shares heartfelt truths about comparison through scripture, biblical examples, and her own life experiences. She exposes its roots and helps us look into our own hearts to see where we have allowed this thief to steal from us. She leads us to Jesus, where He shows us how to shed ourselves of comparison and find contentment, joy, and peace in who God has uniquely created us to be. This is a book to go to over and over again. Go grab your own copy today!

I have completed the book and woah what a mighty Heavenly Father we have! Jesus Christ knows how His daughters can be opened, shut, disappointed, misused and still He is the same. Not only does Lauren name the testimony that instructs thousands of women to have more than just a little faith, she writes her heart into it. Giving a clear message of transformation. If you are taking inventory of the last time you felt transformed, turn to Jesus first and then reach out to Lauren through this good work.
