Elijah ♥️
The pacing of the book was good. The characters in here were written well because sometimes they had me in my feelings. The spice and connection built between Elijah and Keyella was 🥵. Elijah was coming with that energy and not letting up. Talk about applying pressure. Keyella had her issues with trust. She was ready to cuss someone out asap but not live in the moment and this new man do you right. SMH.
Now i did like that the author wrote about that lame guy and how he was doing Keyella. There might be someone going through that right now and needs a wake up call. Over a good book. Glad book 2 is already because the cliff hanger had me like 👀😲.

This book gave BDE and I loved it the ending had me ready to throw my kindle because now I need more 😂 I loved how spicy this book was. Key was doing to much she just wouldn’t let this man show her something new hated that for her but definitely a good book.

Whew, Keyella was working my nerves. Insecure in regards to how she sees herself with a man/relationship. Low self-esteem! I didn't get it, though. Boss lady with a business & business mind, and two best friends who continued to speak life and joy into. Then, the crazy aunt she stood up to. She's stronger than she realizes.
She allowed her ex., Dylan to get into her head, talking down to her and making her feel like nothing. Making her doubt herself about making decisions when it came to men/matters of the heart.
Elijah had his work cut out for him. Keyella was a mess! Was he strong in his approach, yes, but I found that sexy as h$&*.
Elijah, I loved him cause he wanted what he wanted, Keyella, and had no problem going after Keyella. She was resistant but not resistant when it came to sex. She was all over the place. But, I have faith in Elijah, and his genuine love for Key.
All I can say is I'm rooting for the two and can't wait until book 2.

Honestly, Keyella worked absolutely every nerve I had 😂 Like girl either you want this man or not! All this back and forth not doing it for me. Either stand on business about not being with him or stop all that yapping and get your man 🙄 Elijah came with the BDE though! Which is why I kept reading 😅

Frustrating
These two was frustrating to me! They both needed to go to time out. They were both brash, but when they came together they were great together.
Keyella couldn't see beyond her past hurt and its so crazy she can't see Elijah for what he's showing her.
So many loose ends with this Auntie, Gaylen and Elijah's past women.
The ending took my breath away!

While it was recommended to me, at 64%, I had to DNF. Masterbating in your own office is so unprofessional and downright nasty. Nothing about that is logical, and that action alone made it impossible for me to continue liking the FMC.

Key was getting on my nerves like girl, please gain some self-esteem for the love of all who is wholly... I get it but come on girl. Elijah was high-handed but I gotta say I don't like to know a lot he could have been handling me anyday with his mannish ways.
