After being shot, Foe is now face to face with the one thing he’s been running from, karma. He is forced to battle his demons from a past that’s coming for blood while a secret love emerges.
While trying to protect his friendship and the brotherhood of the Zoo Boyz, Foe is also protecting the heart of someone he has unexpectedly fallen for, Zu’s girlfriend, Harvey.
As the two try to hide what’s been brewing, it is only a matter of time before what they’ve been hiding is exposed.
Foe is challenged to learn who he is amid his love triangle. He is confused between who he needs to be and who he is. Layers are peeled back, guiding him into something he didn’t expect.
As the story continues, will Foe find a happy medium and a love to call his own or will karma find him before a happy ending occurs?

This was the best installment to the Zoo Boyz yet.

Tatiana, my dear, please remove your literary stiletto from our necks.

This was a doozyyyyy.
Again, multiple POVs done fairly well.
We got more from characters we didn’t in the last 3 books.
Part of a secret finally revealed, although we kind of knew.

Foe the infamous gangsta and gentlemen. He is the streets. We got to see more into what made him the trigger happy, impulsive man he was. He was raised in chaos, so he adapted. Forced to face his demons; find himself, and test his limits. One thing he knew beyond a shadow of doubt was that Harvey was it for him but could she reciprocate. Was he enough?

Chevy, man. The parts with Chevy had me gasping for air. He is silently going through it. I can’t want to get his story.

Foe ♥️

Honey i like me some Foe. He’s solid, about that action and a sweetheart. He been making things happen for a long time since he was young. His story and family was eye opening. Just getting more into his thoughts and especially how he feels about Harvey.

I love all the povs and Timmons does them for each book just makes sense. So getting Foe, Zu and Harvey for this “love triangle” is what us readers needed. I can’t lie thought Foe and Harvey had me with all kinds of smiles on my face. Chevy really cared about them a lot and just wanted them to get their bs together.

One of my favorite moments was the talk Harvey and Chevy had towards the end of the book. That brother and sister bond is strong and so precious. I’m not ready for Chevy’s book because how this book ended had me a little sad.

Just know we only mess with the Zoo.

Oh yea Freckles, i like her vibe a lot. That’s probably what Zu needs.

Ahhhh

I’m glad Myles and Harvey are okay. They really don’t care about popping anybody. Who and what is this cleanup crew because uh they have their work cut out. I love the reference to the Inferno Boyz which is how I ended up here.

More pieces to the puzzle have been revealed before we see the big picture. The book is pretty fast paced. I swallowed these 200 pages so fast, I was upset it was over. I love that even when some characters aren't the focal point their storylines are still progressing. We had already seen foe thru Harvey's eyes as someone who is attentive & very concerned with her well being. We just got to delve into Foes layers as he is normally playing in the background.....Preach still my lil yea yea but Foe appeals to my softer side.

Just want to take a sec to point out how much I appreciate when authors provide a playlist. How cool is it this author also provides the recommended song at the top of the chapter to set the tone ❤️!

All for love, but Harvey did ZU dirty 🤷🏾‍♀️. She stayed playing in my man's face and only offered to bow out due to some misguided loyalty to The Zoo. The man was foine, built like a god, and he was trying from day one.

FOE having his moment with his father was beautiful! I loved that for him, BUT how easily we forget the reason The Zoo was even at war was because of a vendetta that stemed from said father's absence. JS.

Chevy!!!!!! "We only fuck with da Zoo!” The crew is barely holding on will this secret bring them together or send them on their separate crossroads?

Did you catch the The Inferno God's connection Yaisin 😉

Spice Level: 🔥🔥🔥
Tissues:🤧

I said what I said and as always: don't take my word for it. Read the book, form your own opinions, and support your authors!

From the very first page, I knew Foe had a story that was going to hit deep. He wasn’t just another street dude—he was a survivor, shaped by trauma and circumstance. Myles by birth, but the streets turned him into Foe, a hustler doing whatever it took to keep his mom and siblings afloat in the Projects. A true “Stick-up Kid,” he played the game the only way he knew how—robbing Peter to pay Paul, just to see another day.

When Chev and Zu brought Foe into the fold, it wasn’t by chance. Chevy saw him—his heart, his hunger, his skill. Foe was a beast with his hands, rebuilding guns like second nature, and if you ever tested him? Let’s just say, that foe-five was always ready.

But beneath all that, was Foe ever taught love? No. Like so many young Black boys, he was raised to survive, not to live—not to love. He believed there was nothing to look forward to… until Ms. Harvey. Their connection wasn’t instant romance—it was two broken souls recognizing each other, healing together, and finding something worth fighting for.

And just when I thought I had Foe figured out, we get that moment—Myles coming face-to-face with his long-lost father. That void, that pain, that need to know where he came from… It wrecked me.

This book is raw, gripping, and unforgettable. Tatiana Timmons knows how to write characters that stay with you. Foe’s journey is one of survival, redemption, and love found in the most unexpected places. If you love urban fiction with depth and emotion, this is a must-read.

where are the hood n😏😏😏as?

Shiesty definitely gave everybody a run for their money? The shenanigans that happened in the bedroom top-tier I love the background behind his story and I was not even expecting any of it to be honest. You are definitely in for a run with this one, and I don’t know why I didn’t think that he was going to be as street as he is. This book solidified all of that.

LISTEN! This the one right here! The tension between Zu, Harvey and Foe Baby! The drama of it all. But I enjoyed seeing a different side to Foe. Seeing how he became apart of the Zoo and seeing his background you understand how he became the man he is. He is really a lover boy at heart but he’s a hood lover boy lol I loved every bit of his story. I cant wait to see how Zu and Foe’s friendship goes after this. Love the Zoo Brotherhood!

Foe’s character development is by far the realist of all the Zoo boys. His desire to grow, his desire for love.

Zoo boys Shenanigans

So much drama. I did feel their chemistry, but I did not like how they handled the situation. They are definitely a tad bit unhinged but they mean well. They definitely left me speechless a couple of times and what is going on with Dio? But I’m interested in Zu and freckles story.

I tried to read this slow, but it was too good to pace myself. This might be my favorite one in the series! I love how open and vulnerable Foe is—it made me love him even more. The story just keeps pulling me in. I can’t wait to see what happens next!

This Read Here 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Well, I’m still team Foe & Chevy!!! It’s something about their energy that I love!!

Enjoyed reading about Foe story and how he came about being apart of the Zoo Boyz! The way his mom did him was so wrong and out of line. Just because Glock did want to be with her, so took it on Foe. However once he got older to care for himself it all back fired on her! Now, with it backfiring she did end up getting her life together and Foe was able to make amends with his father.

I’m please and happy the Harvey chose Foe as they are meant to be. Loving their connect and the energy they give each other. Let’s not mention they were in love with others all this time and finally allowed themselves to love each other. As stated in the read Zu didn’t know how to love her even with Chevy trying to help him.

Now the ladies aka Zoo Babies I’m loving all of them and the relationships. I do hope Zaria and Chevy gets together because that kiss they share just show the connection they have for each other and I love it. As for Chevy, I pray he gets the help he needs instead of giving up.

Let’s get on Zu, I do like his vibe but he has a lot of personal things he needs to work on. Consider others and not just himself. As for that brother Dio, he just as wild has his brother and got the short end of the stick with how Asia did him and threw him under the bus. I’m not going to say she deserved what she got because she has kids, but if you live that life and play in the streets you do end letting the streets be you demised.

Sandra! Wonder if she has a motive but only time with tell, however, I feel her and Zu would be the perfect match. Their vibe and energy matches each other.

Can’t want for the next release and definitely can’t wait to see what 2025 brings.

At this point, she’s playing with my emotions, and I love it.

This time, we’re deep-diving into Foe’s story—really getting to know Myles, the man behind the tough exterior. After everything that went down at Granny G’s repast, he thought he was paying his dues with Karma when that bullet came flying. But what he didn’t expect was how much more his past was about to catch up to him—how strangers would start feeling like family, how the weight of his real feelings for Harvey would start suffocating him, and how keeping that secret could shake the foundation of everything he’s built with the Zoo Boyz.

The guise of friendship is no longer working—he knows what he wants, but he also knows what’s at stake. Foe/Myles is struggling between who he truly is and what that means for his future. And as if his own battles weren’t enough, he’s using Asia as a distraction—only to find out she’s been keeping secrets of her own. Yet another disappointment he’s got to add to his already overflowing plate.

And then comes Chevy—forcing him to face the truth and pushing him toward a hard conversation with Zu. That’s when the real self-reflection begins. Watching Foe/Myles confront the people in his life—especially his mom—was one of the most powerful parts of this book. He’s seeing a vision of what his life could be, and now it’s up to him to decide if he’ll go for it or let fear keep him trapped.

But just when I thought we were getting somewhere—BOOM—phones start blowing up, and we’re left hanging again! Tatiana, why you do us like this?!

This book was everything. The drama, the raw emotion, the inner battles—it had me locked in from start to finish. If you think you know Foe, think again. Hood Shiesty peels back all the layers, and trust me, you need to read this one.

Again I say I love the way the trigger warnings are given!!! Foe is by far nothing that I would have through he was. Baby Myles was out here struggling from a young age and he was really out here causing havoc in his projects. I love how Chevy goes around watching all these young guys and they really have no idea why he’s watching them other than them riding for him like, how is Chevy everywhere? Well shit hits the fan in more than one way in this book but I was here for it. I hate how Foe and Harvey came to be but at the same time it made it so much more interesting. I know I know how toxic but all parties knew what it was as soon as it started happening. I will say yet again these damn girls get on my nerves because what the hell are we waiting for when we need to make a play knowing these dude are missing quite a few screws. Myles momma is not worth a damn and I hope he gets some more information from his pops because maybe just maybe he really was out there trying to do something good by him. Now the way Myles/Foe was after Harvey but really trying to fight the shit and play the side nigga. Baby he was in Love. He knew it was sticky but the heart wants what the heart wants and him and Harvey were calling for each other. Everything about the cabin trip with the crew had my mouth wide the hell open the whole time!!!! That woods scene with Dio lol. I’m glad all the girls got what they deserved but damn why we couldn’t hear what Mo had to say she owed diamond an explanation. I love Zaria and her sisters for the guys!!! Let’s talk about where and why Dio was not apart of the group in some form or fashion because dude had more intel then all of them than Chev.

Oooo weeee the wait for the triangle to play out is finally over and Tatiana gave us a story!!! If you've been a Zoo baby then you know how both Foe and Big Zu get down so I knew going into this one I wasn't ready 😆
This storyline was so complex and as with the previous books in this series, we get to peel back the layers of the characters we have grown to love. I can admit Foe was just a secondary character that was happy on the trigga and Zu was well… the egotistical asshole🤷🏾‍♀️ after reading this book Foe has now moved up to my top three after Heavy Chevy (of course😏) and Diamond and Zu is now just self-absorbed 😆
Harvey handled a situation she put herself in very well because having to possibly choose between best friends and them looking how they look I am completely with Rayana… why choose!?!?! The girls played a big part in this book, both good and bad, but I loved the camaraderie and dialogue between them. We rarely see a group of females who are not fighting or tearing each other down so the dynamics in this book were refreshing.
This is probably my favorite book of the series so far. We get to see characters on Demon Time, finally get rid of some baggage, and explore the lives of the Zoo boys and the Zoo babies! I didn't think I would be excited for Zu’s story but after the new players entered the game I can't wait. One thing about Tatiana is she is gonna give me a few curves with some dips and jumps as well, knocking me all the way left, not knowing what's next!

Okay!! Now we’re finally cooking with some hot grease because THIS one was good! The tension between Foe and Zu? Chef’s kiss. It felt natural, unforced, and like they actually had time to breathe instead of just being thrown together for vibes. And the slow burn between Foe and Harvey? Perfect. They weren’t rushing, they weren’t forcing it — they were just taking their time and letting it simmer. We love some realistic pacing!

Chevy… sir. I’m irritated it’s taking this man 47 business days to reveal that secret, but I also get it — he’s a quiet storm, and quiet storms take their sweet time. I’ll allow it… for now.

I’m also watching Foe’s mama like a hawk because I need her to stay on this positive path. And I’m curious to see if Foe and his father ever build the relationship they clearly need.

And LISTEN… the women in the Zoo?! I don’t know what I expected but I promise you I did not think they were going to be on board with the level of Zoo foolery happening in that warehouse. But babyyyy I was WRONG. They said, “Where the chaos at? Let me clock in.” 😂

Overall? A good book. Suspenseful, a sprinkle of romance, a dash of drama, and just enough mess to keep me turning pages. Tatiana did what needed to be done with this one.

Stronger bond

No matter what happened between these men they would always show up and show out for each other. Miles aka Foe indeed had to deal with a lot from childhood to keeping his feelings for the woman he loved under lock and key only settling for the next one only to find out she was being disloyal. Asia had so much going on with her, why would she break the code knowing these two groups had beef then to hide a major part of yourself from the man you claimed you were falling in love with not knowing she had a secret admirer/stalker that knew more about her than she thought and because of the type of friend he was she lied on him again breaking the code not knowing her bd had already knew what she had been doing. Chevy needs to open up and tell his family what's going on and accept the help because now all of them want to ride out with him but haven't told him yet. Harvey finally gave in and stopped fighting what her heart and Chevy told her what she wanted. It was time for him to stop communicating with his eyes to Zaria they needed to take the next step because clearly something was there.

The Zoo is DIABOLICAL

Mannnn, it seems like it's always something with this crew...2 steps forward, 10 steps back. So Zu is sending Dio to NY with Yasin??? Yasin as in The Delgato's and Infernos Yasin? Let me say, Asia was wrong for lying on Dio, but she didn't deserve that ending. I knew it would eventually come to that but it still was unexpected. Chevy seems to be getting worse and worse, but why has he resigned to just give up? I really hope Zu and Foe get it together. It is a sticky situation because no matter what Harvey will be connected to the Zoo. To know Foe was lied to all this time about his dad because his mom was bitter is messed up in more ways than one, but him finally saying no more was the thing she needed because she cleaned that house and got a JOB! I hope that they all go to Toussaint, even if it's for one final ride! I hate this is coming to an end soon. Happy Reading Y'all!💋 Zoo over everything!!

Hood Sheisty

Umm as stated its a lot to unpack but first I wanna start by saying I love Chevy and Zaria even though this was their story. Just the Zoo-Giving part just had me smiling because I can't wait for their story. Now Harvey, Asia, Zu and Foe had my nerves bad. I always felt from the first book that Zu really wasn't ready for Harvey. With her situation kinda like Chevy's she needed something different now it being Foe was weird but as you got to know and see them I understood why. It's like they both saw each other, like Sasha said Zu didn't love her properly and she found someone that did. These next few stories I feel is going to be hard but I love the fact that everyone has decided to go with Chevy to do the same thing he is doing... to find themselves!!

Foe is the man!

While recuperating from a gunshot wound, For is faced with a family secret, as he fights his feelings for one of his closest friend’s girlfriend. Obviously, this puts a strain on his relationship with Zu, but thank God for Chevy. Not only is he a big brother/mentor, but he is also a friend.

Meanwhile, each of the other Zoo members are dealing with issues of their own. Some of which come up at Zoo-giving, which I love BTW. I also find myself falling in love with the color Orange. In this book, my favorite character is the man himself…Foe, and Cortez is my least favorite.

Next up, is my baby Zu, who is complicated and very misunderstood. Another amazing job by @authortatiana.
