After being shot, Foe is now face to face with the one thing he’s been running from, karma. He is forced to battle his demons from a past that’s coming for blood while a secret love emerges. While trying to protect his friendship and the brotherhood of the Zoo Boyz, Foe is also protecting the heart of someone he has unexpectedly fallen for, Zu’s girlfriend, Harvey. As the two try to hide what’s been brewing, it is only a matter of time before what they’ve been hiding is exposed. Foe is challenged to learn who he is amid his love triangle. He is confused between who he needs to be and who he is. Layers are peeled back, guiding him into something he didn’t expect. As the story continues, will Foe find a happy medium and a love to call his own or will karma find him before a happy ending occurs?
This was the best installment to the Zoo Boyz yet.
Tatiana, my dear, please remove your literary stiletto from our necks.
This was a doozyyyyy. Again, multiple POVs done fairly well. We got more from characters we didn’t in the last 3 books. Part of a secret finally revealed, although we kind of knew.
Foe the infamous gangsta and gentlemen. He is the streets. We got to see more into what made him the trigger happy, impulsive man he was. He was raised in chaos, so he adapted. Forced to face his demons; find himself, and test his limits. One thing he knew beyond a shadow of doubt was that Harvey was it for him but could she reciprocate. Was he enough?
Chevy, man. The parts with Chevy had me gasping for air. He is silently going through it. I can’t want to get his story.
Honey i like me some Foe. He’s solid, about that action and a sweetheart. He been making things happen for a long time since he was young. His story and family was eye opening. Just getting more into his thoughts and especially how he feels about Harvey.
I love all the povs and Timmons does them for each book just makes sense. So getting Foe, Zu and Harvey for this “love triangle” is what us readers needed. I can’t lie thought Foe and Harvey had me with all kinds of smiles on my face. Chevy really cared about them a lot and just wanted them to get their bs together.
One of my favorite moments was the talk Harvey and Chevy had towards the end of the book. That brother and sister bond is strong and so precious. I’m not ready for Chevy’s book because how this book ended had me a little sad.
Just know we only mess with the Zoo.
Oh yea Freckles, i like her vibe a lot. That’s probably what Zu needs.
I’m glad Myles and Harvey are okay. They really don’t care about popping anybody. Who and what is this cleanup crew because uh they have their work cut out. I love the reference to the Inferno Boyz which is how I ended up here.
We only f with the zoo… I was so ready for Myles book omg and I just love him even more . Tatiana be killing it with these boyz I am eating them up like it is a tv series! So good… one ,two ,foe is coming for you!!!!
Harvey & Myles I been ready since book one! They deserve all the happiness. 😍
More pieces to the puzzle have been revealed before we see the big picture. The book is pretty fast paced. I swallowed these 200 pages so fast, I was upset it was over. I love that even when some characters aren't the focal point their storylines are still progressing. We had already seen foe thru Harvey's eyes as someone who is attentive & very concerned with her well being. We just got to delve into Foes layers as he is normally playing in the background.....Preach still my lil yea yea but Foe appeals to my softer side.
Myles gave me ALL the emotions. 🥹 He was such a sweetheart, and I did not expect to get that attached.
From the start, I was pulled in by the drama, the loyalty, and that raw hood love that hits every time. The men in this series? Whew. They really have me in my feelings. It’s something about a man who’s tough to the world but soft for his woman that gets me every single time.
If you love stories that make you swoon and stress at the same time, this one definitely delivers. Myles stood out for me, no question.
Just want to take a sec to point out how much I appreciate when authors provide a playlist. How cool is it this author also provides the recommended song at the top of the chapter to set the tone ❤️!
All for love, but Harvey did ZU dirty 🤷🏾♀️. She stayed playing in my man's face and only offered to bow out due to some misguided loyalty to The Zoo. The man was foine, built like a god, and he was trying from day one.
FOE having his moment with his father was beautiful! I loved that for him, BUT how easily we forget the reason The Zoo was even at war was because of a vendetta that stemed from said father's absence. JS.
Chevy!!!!!! "We only fuck with da Zoo!” The crew is barely holding on will this secret bring them together or send them on their separate crossroads?
Did you catch the The Inferno God's connection Yaisin 😉
Spice Level: 🔥🔥🔥 Tissues:🤧
I said what I said and as always: don't take my word for it. Read the book, form your own opinions, and support your authors!
These books keep getting better and better. I ate up every word and took my time with it because I didn’t want it to be over. Tati put her foot in this. The right about of spice, drama and happiness. I’m glad some people got handled 🤭
From the very first page, I knew Foe had a story that was going to hit deep. He wasn’t just another street dude—he was a survivor, shaped by trauma and circumstance. Myles by birth, but the streets turned him into Foe, a hustler doing whatever it took to keep his mom and siblings afloat in the Projects. A true “Stick-up Kid,” he played the game the only way he knew how—robbing Peter to pay Paul, just to see another day.
When Chev and Zu brought Foe into the fold, it wasn’t by chance. Chevy saw him—his heart, his hunger, his skill. Foe was a beast with his hands, rebuilding guns like second nature, and if you ever tested him? Let’s just say, that foe-five was always ready.
But beneath all that, was Foe ever taught love? No. Like so many young Black boys, he was raised to survive, not to live—not to love. He believed there was nothing to look forward to… until Ms. Harvey. Their connection wasn’t instant romance—it was two broken souls recognizing each other, healing together, and finding something worth fighting for.
And just when I thought I had Foe figured out, we get that moment—Myles coming face-to-face with his long-lost father. That void, that pain, that need to know where he came from… It wrecked me.
This book is raw, gripping, and unforgettable. Tatiana Timmons knows how to write characters that stay with you. Foe’s journey is one of survival, redemption, and love found in the most unexpected places. If you love urban fiction with depth and emotion, this is a must-read.

One of the biggest storylines that stood out was the situation between Foe and Zu over Harvey. That whole dynamic was messy in a real way because, at first, it just didn’t make sense. The decisions being made had you questioning motives and side-eyeing the situation heavy. You could feel the confusion and frustration especially seeing how everything was unfolding without clear answers.
But as the story develops, things start to click. You begin to understand that Foe was honestly more emotionally and mentally prepared for what Harvey needed, while Zu just wasn’t in a place to fully give into love yet. And that realization adds depth to everything, because it’s not about one person being “better” it’s about timing, growth, and being ready. That internal battle, especially on Zu’s side, felt very real and made the storyline hit even harder.
Overall, it’s emotional, dramatic, and keeps you fully invested. Between the tension, the relationship struggles, and the personal growth, this is one of those stories that really sticks with you after you finish.

Shiesty definitely gave everybody a run for their money? The shenanigans that happened in the bedroom top-tier I love the background behind his story and I was not even expecting any of it to be honest. You are definitely in for a run with this one, and I don’t know why I didn’t think that he was going to be as street as he is. This book solidified all of that.
LISTEN! This the one right here! The tension between Zu, Harvey and Foe Baby! The drama of it all. But I enjoyed seeing a different side to Foe. Seeing how he became apart of the Zoo and seeing his background you understand how he became the man he is. He is really a lover boy at heart but he’s a hood lover boy lol I loved every bit of his story. I cant wait to see how Zu and Foe’s friendship goes after this. Love the Zoo Brotherhood!
Now this was a wild ride for sure ! I love how we are getting more back story and character development. I feel like this is shaping up to break my lil heart
Oh and I love a shorty that’s finna get active about her mans 🤭
I’m definitely a zoo baby. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this and finally understand about the crossover that never happened with IG. I’m not gonna lie I don’t think the zoo boys get enough hype
I think Foe & Chevy have the best storylines in the series & the best character development. I can’t wait for Chevys book. I need him & Zaria to make it
So much drama. I did feel their chemistry, but I did not like how they handled the situation. They are definitely a tad bit unhinged but they mean well. They definitely left me speechless a couple of times and what is going on with Dio? But I’m interested in Zu and freckles story.
I swear I’ve been waiting on this one since the 1st book/ introduction. The triangle of Foe, Zu, and Harvey was a plot I was ready to see. I love that we find out more about Chev and his intentions for then upcoming trip!
Harvey and Foe make me sick. I just couldn’t get with them being together when that’s his best friend’s girl. They both played on Zu’s face and Zu didn’t deserve that AT ALL! I would’ve preferred Harvey & Foe get with other people and be happy and not be with each other. Love the Zoo Boyz but I just can’t stand Foe & Harvey. Harvey is a homie hopper and Foe ain’t loyal. If it’s really "Zoo over everything" Foe wouldn’t have gotten with Harvey.
I tried to read this slow, but it was too good to pace myself. This might be my favorite one in the series! I love how open and vulnerable Foe is—it made me love him even more. The story just keeps pulling me in. I can’t wait to see what happens next!
Well, I’m still team Foe & Chevy!!! It’s something about their energy that I love!!
Enjoyed reading about Foe story and how he came about being apart of the Zoo Boyz! The way his mom did him was so wrong and out of line. Just because Glock did want to be with her, so took it on Foe. However once he got older to care for himself it all back fired on her! Now, with it backfiring she did end up getting her life together and Foe was able to make amends with his father.
I’m please and happy the Harvey chose Foe as they are meant to be. Loving their connect and the energy they give each other. Let’s not mention they were in love with others all this time and finally allowed themselves to love each other. As stated in the read Zu didn’t know how to love her even with Chevy trying to help him.
Now the ladies aka Zoo Babies I’m loving all of them and the relationships. I do hope Zaria and Chevy gets together because that kiss they share just show the connection they have for each other and I love it. As for Chevy, I pray he gets the help he needs instead of giving up.
Let’s get on Zu, I do like his vibe but he has a lot of personal things he needs to work on. Consider others and not just himself. As for that brother Dio, he just as wild has his brother and got the short end of the stick with how Asia did him and threw him under the bus. I’m not going to say she deserved what she got because she has kids, but if you live that life and play in the streets you do end letting the streets be you demised.
Sandra! Wonder if she has a motive but only time with tell, however, I feel her and Zu would be the perfect match. Their vibe and energy matches each other.
Can’t want for the next release and definitely can’t wait to see what 2025 brings.
