Amidst the demanding world of medicine, Roberta’s life is a careful balancing act between ambition and pursuing a grounded, authentic life. Fueled by her passion for surgery, she moves through the pressures of her medical residency while building a life with Alex, her steady partner who offers a rare stability in her chaotic life. When a sudden revelation rocks her carefully built world and makes her realize that life is moving faster than she ever anticipated, she is forced to confront the past she thought she’d left behind – a haunting love left unfinished.

Then
Seven years earlier, Roberta was just starting her journey into medicine – young, idealistic, eager, and bursting with dreams. In the relentless environment of medical school, her friendships became a sanctuary. Her life is suddenly turned upside down by the presence of Lorenzo – a love that was never meant to be but would forever remain unforgettable. Their connection, fleeting yet intense, would linger as a shadow, influencing every choice she would make.

Caught between her past and present, Roberta faces a choice that could redefine her can she embrace what’s in front of her, or will the echo of an unfinished love continue to hold her back?

Unfinished explores the bittersweet complexities of love, ambition, and self-discovery, asking whether we can truly let go of a past that shapes who we are. For readers who have ever felt the weight of a love that was never entirely theirs, this journey resonates with the struggle to move forward while honoring the ghosts of unfulfilled parts within oneself.

Es increíble como sofia muestra la vida de los residentes de cirugia y las dificultades a las que se enfrentan, tambien toca de una forma muy sensible temas muy importantes como salud mental y acoso sexual. Increíble libro, delicioso de leer.
